My sisters and I recently ordered a bedroom set online from Bob’s Discount Furniture in Warwick, RI. This was for our mother’s new room that she was moving into in (a beautiful memory care facility) Newport, RI. Purchasing furniture sight unseen can be stressful, but this experience exceeded every expectation we had. From the very beginning, the communication from our main contact, Hugo, was outstanding. He and his associate called with a time frame for delivery and then again right before arriving. They kept us informed throughout the process, and made what could have been an emotional and overwhelming day feel smooth and easy. The delivery and setup was quick, professional, and incredibly efficient. They treated our mother and our family with kindness and respect, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Most importantly, the furniture itself was absolutely beautiful — even better than we expected. The quality, style, and overall value were fantastic, especially for the price. Our mother was thrilled with her new room, and that meant everything to us. I highly recommend Bob’s Discount Furniture, for their professionalism, compassion, quality products, and exceptional customer service. After this experience, I will definitely be ordering furniture for my own home very soon! I wanted to add that I placed another order with Bob’s Discount Furniture the week after writing my original review. This time, I ordered a sofa for my home in Narragansett, and once again the experience surpassed my expectations. I wanted to mention that the material that the sofa is made from is of excellent quality. I have included a photo of it below. Angel, who handled the delivery, was courteous, efficient, and made sure I was completely happy with everything before leaving. The entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. At this point, Bob’s Discount Furniture has officially become my go-to furniture store.
View on GoogleI worked with Michael E yesterday at the Warwick, Rhode Island location. Michael E invited me to follow him to the back of the store where their mattresses were. I was looking for a queen size mattress and he was very professional and knowledgeable and showed me the different types of mattresses. I was able to test each one. He was able to answer any and all questions concerning the types of mattresses. I truly appreciate his politeness and his professionalism. He showed me the price of the mattress I chose along with any fees attached to it and let me know upfront what I would be paying out of pocket. I felt like I was a friend of his. I’m excited to use my new mattress and I’m sure that I will enjoy it for many years to come. I would definitely recommend their service.
View on GoogleI have to say that the Delivery & Assembly of our new Couch & Sofa Set went 95% Perfectly. The Delivery Men were pleasant & worked quicker than we thought they would The only problem we/they ran into were the 2 final leg attachment. Their drill was pretty much out of power & the bits they were using weren't sufficient to fully secure the last legs on the couch. Fortunately, my Husband has a full set of tools & the movers were able to use his to satisfactorily put the legs on tightly Overall, we were pleased with the delivery! However, I WILL SUGGEST that you expand the amount of tools the moving men have access to--that they have a back-up charged drill & both long & short, straight & Phillips Head bits for the drill. We were fortunate that my husband has an enormous set of tools. The next Delivery might not be as fortunate! Thank You Bob's & Mike T. In the Warwick, RI Store!

Making it extremely easy to just call her or click on link and order when I was done comparing stores and pricing. No pressure sales made me select to purchase from Bob's w Diane.

What I expected to be a quick shopping trip turned into nearly three hours, and at no point did he make me feel rushed or like I was taking up too much of his time. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and has a true eye for design. He helped me think through furniture placement, sizing, and how everything would come together in my new apartment. His suggestions were thoughtful and practical, and he genuinely wanted me to love what pieces were going in my apartment —not just make a sale. What impressed me most, though, was his kindness. I’m going through a significant life transition while recovering from an injury, and Mike treated me with so much patience, compassion, and respect. He listened, encouraged me, answered every question (and there were a lot! I am lot!), and somehow made what could have been an overwhelming experience genuinely enjoyable. Customer service like this is rare. Mike went above and beyond in every way, and it’s clear he truly cares about the people he helps. If you’re shopping for furniture, ask for Mike T. You won’t just leave with beautiful furniture—you’ll leave feeling like someone genuinely cared about helping you create a home. Thank you, Mike, for making such a lasting impression.
