I had an amazing experience at Mattress Firm on East Independence in Springfield, MO today! My platform bedframe broke this morning, and I’ve been sleeping on a terrible mattress for the past three years. I had a $400 budget in mind, so I started by checking out a few clearance mattress stores. The first one tried to sell me a “better quality” mattress for $869 and, of course, pushed me to finance it but I don’t do credit lines. That’s a setup for failure in my book. Then the next store offered a $300 coil spring mattress that squeaked the minute I sat on it. No thank you! I decided to make one last stop at Mattress Firm on East Independence, and I’m so glad I did. The team there was friendly, honest, and absolutely no pressure. They helped me find a top-of-the-line mattress originally priced at $1,400 for only $399! I paired it with a solid platform frame and still walked out the door paying just under $800 total. Yes, it was a little over my budget, but I work hard, and I deserve a good night’s sleep. I deal with arthritis in my spine, pelvic issues from a car wreck, and degenerative bone disease in my neck. On top of that, I clean for a living my body hurts, and quality rest is essential. Mattress Firm truly hooked me up, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I left with a brand new mattress and frame, and I cannot wait to sleep on it tonight. Thank you, Mattress Firm East Independence, for your kindness, honesty, and for helping me finally get the rest I’ve been needing for years. You’ve earned a loyal customer for life!
View on GoogleI do not recommend mattress firm as a whole. I have purchased 2 mattresses from them in the past 5 years. The salesmen are always great, but the product quality is very poor and the warranties on their mattresses are completely bogus. I purchased a Sleepy's mattress in 10/22 that had a 5 year warranty. Now, 2.5 years later the springs have completely collapsed and crushed the foam on the sides and the mattress is shifting to the collapsed side. I went through the entire warranty process, which was only offered to file online and was a lot of work, and immediately received a letter saying this is "normal impressions". I wasn't even able to dispute it, as they immediately closed the claim and offered no recourse or even a number to call. This is a faulty warranty. Please save yourself the headache and don't get suckered in to buying from them. Their house brand is junk!
View on GoogleWe came in, just needing a decent mattress to replace one we’d bought here years ago when our kids were much younger. We were shown several options in different price ranges and firmness, out teen was able to test a couple and pick the one that felt best w/o any pressure. We paid a price we could afford, got a good deal, arranged delivery, and had a pleasant conversation with the salesman who happened to be the same guy who sold us mattresses 6 and 8 years ago at the same store!
View on GoogleAfter having an Issue with a recent purchase, Michael the store manager was very helpful after another location was not. After multiple back and forth attempts with customer service, Michael listened to the issue and worked quickly to find a solution and replace the defective product. I will only come to the Springfield independence location for any future purchases.

It was on sale for Labor Day sale which saved us $400 off retail price. Super helpful and knowledgeable on the product. Can't wait to pick up the matress and get a good night's rest we been dreaming about.
