Picked up a couch that was completely wrapped in thick vinyl, so I was not given a real chance to inspect the upholstery at pickup. The employee still pushed me to sign the release paperwork and did not explain that signing would waive any damage claim after leaving. Once I removed the protective covering at home, I found multiple tears and seam damage under the fabric (photos attached). I contacted customer service right away and asked for a fair resolution, but they denied the claim only because it was a pickup order and I signed for it, saying they “can’t verify when the damage occurred” after pickup. This is extremely disappointing because the packaging prevented inspection in the first place. If your policy is “no claims after pickup,” customers should be clearly told and allowed to fully unwrap and inspect before signing. I would not recommend buying here unless you can inspect the item completely before accepting it.
