Probably the best furniture buying and delivery experience I’ve ever had. The drive to Waldorf from Montgomery County was well worth it! Beautiful showroom and high quality furniture!! Bought the Reed Upholstered Storage Bed which was over $2 grand less than a similar frame from Bloomingdale’s and looked just as nice. Went to the showroom to see and what’s not disappointed! Made the purchase quick and easy, friendly sales people and no pressure into warranties and other add ons that you get at so many other furniture stores. Bed arrived on time and delivery crew arrived literally the minute they said they would. White glove assembly had the bed together in 30 minutes! Worked like a dream!! What really put this store next level, is that the day before the bed was scheduled to arrive I called because in showing off my purchase to a friend, I saw it had since gone on sale. I called to ask if I could get a price adjustment or even a credit for the future since I do want to come back and refresh my dining room. They said yes but company policy is to send a check but they had all my info and would send it. I was skeptical because it was so quick and easy but sure enough 2-3 weeks later I got a check for the full amount of the difference!! Appreciate the honesty and integrity!! I will absolutely be returning for all my furniture needs!!

After a particularly unpleasant cross-country move where nearly all my custom furniture was destroyed, I found myself in desperate need of help. After visiting several furniture stores from Baltimore to DC, Scandinavian Designs in Waldorf, MD stood out as special- largely due to Maurice, who kindly worked magic and managed to find in stock pieces for my home that far exceeded my expectations. Final delivery and installation was completed today, and I am so grateful. I can finally put the misery of this move behind me and focus on settling in. Thank you to one and all at Scandinavia's Designs! To readers of this review, remember that you get what you give. Customer service providers are professionals and deserve dignity and respect. They are not servants, they are partners- if only you let them. In my experience with this team, you get back ten-fold more than you invest - both monetarily and emotionally. They are tops in my book!

Tasteful displays. Priced competitively (I got a marked down wool rug for $124). Layout helps you imagine your space when you walk through. Catherine was friendly and I liked her coat. Would come back again.

A couple months ago, I purchased these beautiful dining rooms chairs from the Waldorf, MD store. If you are in the market for Mid-Century Modern, Contemporary, or Modern furniture and decor accessories, you will find very nice pieces here. The store is very clean and organized, it is truly inviting. The layout and staging of the furniture gives you the opportunity to really see the size and beauty of the many furniture pieces. Plus, the quality of the furniture is great! I initially purchased 4 dining room chairs and then, 4 weeks later I turned around and purchased 2 more. The chairs are so comfy and beautiful! The customer service I received at the store was excellent! When you visit the store, you are immediately greeted upon entry. Just ask for Mr. Brooks, he is very professional employee. He’s not pushy; he is very attentive and knowledgeable about every single piece of furniture in the stock! It was truly a pleasure working with him. I look forward to visiting Scandanavian Designs again!
