Bargain Barn

Lots of things left outside in the elements. It's a true junk store with some new furniture pieces inside like mattresses. Some old and dirty items are overpriced. Just keep your eyes open and dig in. You may find a couple of unexpected things. Friendly couple that own the place.

There are treasures to be found but you need to be willing to dig around to find them. If you are looking for used medical equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs this is a great place to stop. Also has a large selection of chairs.

Most of the time they have what I need but it's overpriced and damaged so I have rarely purchased it. But every once in awhile you find a treasure at a great price. She also has a lot of cages for animals so I have purchased a few from here. Once got a brand new pair of Adidas for $10. But a lot of the items are priced way too high for a junk store. Sometimes higher than new. Also I would never purchase mattresses, stuffy couches, or anything that couldn't be thrown in the washer on sanitize. The place is really musty and everything feels dirty, so I thoroughly wash anything I buy from here as soon as I get it home.

The lady Joanne is very nice. I myself would not purchase a mattress there. I did find 2 nice rug's n a lamp shade. It's like hit n miss, a variety of different items some nice, some fair. Went to look at mattresses.

I've been coming here for years...ever since I was a teenager. (I have a teen of my own now) It's cluttered for sure, but I've gotten a lot of insanely good deals here. It's my go to place for movies, games, consoles, etc. It's the best place to go for collectables. I've bought things here that I got a lot of money back on when I was ready to sell. To get back more than you paid is always awesome. The lady that runs this place is very nice, but she's no fool. Most people that have a complaint about her were trying to get a deal or to cheat her in some way, and she simply didn't fall for it. She also allows you to thoroughly inspect everything before you buy it. You can check a mattress for bugs or signs of wear, you can test games and movies, you can plug in electronics, etc. So there's no reason to ever leave here with something that doesn't work or is infested. If you do, that's entirely your own fault.
