Matthews Mattress

Prices and selection were good, but the service was not.We were told that the bed would likely be delivered by the end of the week. When we had heard nothing, I called and was told that it usually takes two weeks. When I explained that the estimate was for the end of the week, the associate said someone would call me back. No one did. Early the next week I called, and the associate said the paperwork was not there--maybe taken to a different store--but the original salesperson would call me. That same guy called later and said that the delivery should be the Saturday of that week. I asked him to call and let me know either way. He did not. Nor did the bed come. Finally I called again and was assured it would come on Tuesday, and it did. The workers needed to borrow my tools for the set up. And no headboard brackets, so they could not attach the headboard. They rescheduled for a crew to come out again with brackets. They came, but they had no hardware, so no attaching. After I complained again, the warehouse manager took charge, and the headboard was attached on the third visit. In addition, there was no response to website contact or email. Above all, it was the lack of communication that was the biggest annoyance. The sheets that were to be bundled in the promotion never arrived, so we ended up buying other sheets. Proceed carefully with any purchase.

Sales was great, Excellent price, flexible on the delivery schedule, delivery was speedy and old mattress hauled off. Everything was stellar until the delivery truck took out my internet cable knocking me out of commission for a day. Called Matthew's and left a message. The callback I got was a bit hostile with a "it's not our fault" right out of the gate. So stellar experience shot down just like that.

Everyone was very friendly, I felt I got a good deal. I wasn’t pressured into buying a bed. They brought my bed sooner than they even were planning on bringing it. The set up was easy and helpful.

Matthew's Mattress provides excellent service! Very responsive to your needs and take the time to follow up with you and work to make sure you're happy with your purchase. We've made several purchases. A couple of Mattresses, headboard, bedroom furniture set and a bed frame and all of our experiences have been positive.
