I have never done a negative online review, but I felt it was necessary to inform people to be careful with this store & company. They do not stand by what they sell, nor do they help with resolution. I purchased a custom mattress for an antique rope bed. They outsourced to Engineered Sleep Mattress. The first mattress was too small as was the replacement. The MBA support team stopped returning emails after I completed everything they requested - forms, pictures and measurements. The store owner offered me less than 1/2 of what I paid after he insisted that he couldn’t help me. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Pittsburgh, but the owner complained that it wasn’t him and gave them the Greenville, SC addresses for both companies. The SC BBB told me that neither company responded to the issue. So I have two mattresses that are not what was ordered. And neither company are willing to take responsibility, each telling me the other are responsible. Be careful with this store. Actually, I would suggest you avoid it for custom-made mattresses. The receipt states “All Sales Are Final” And he means it, even if you don’t get what was ordered. In response to what Scott wrote, I can prove the pictures were sent. You were not the one communicating with me about the claims. I was emailing with your support team. I did not get what was ordered. And I will stand by that.

During our appointment, Scott was very knowledgeable about the different brands and followed our lead on the mattresses we were interested in. The delivery fee is very reasonable and he helped us to carry the mattress and box spring up to our bedroom on the second floor. We are really happy with our mattress and the affordable price it came at!

I have been in desperate need of a mattress and I have come across Mattress By Appointment on marketplace. I was very skeptical as I have never seen anything like this before but I was in contact with Scott and trusted the process. I had to reschedule my first appointment due to personal but Scott was great at finding me another time the next day. I currently reside in williamsport and traveled to the state college location. In total I was in the store maybe an hour and I had found the mattress I wanted, got approved through financing and made a partial payment of the mattress. Scott was willing to wait till the next day when he delivered my mattress for payment ( $75 delivery for an hour drive is a steal btw) because I had to pull the money out my savings and again lived an hour away. His communication was great and delivery was perfect! Scott was not only very professional but went above beyond to make this experience as easy and stress free as possible ! The prices of mattresses as well are unbeatable! If you are looking for a new mattress, do not walk RUN!
