Mattress Firm Springfield

Ordered a full mattress and it came with an adjustable base. Only problem is that the base has 2 bolts screwed in where’s the headboard needs to attach. Instructions state to remove the bolts then attach the headboard extenders with those same blues on the same spot. The bolts were on so tight that no one in my family could get one of them off. It ended up stripping where the wrench goes. Called Ken same day of picking it up and even sent pictures of this bolt not coming off. His resolution was either he could try and come out after 8pm and try it himself or I could pay $150 for the assembly fee just to get 1 bolt off that the company put on way too tight. I explained I do not need anything assembled, just the bolt off. He said he’ll call the manager and see if they can waive the fee but I’m not holding my breath. I Mizar likely will just return everything and shop elsewhere if this doesn’t get taken care of. I’m also not sure why the bed frame comes with these bolts already screwed in so tight when they are not used for anything, unless you purchase the extender headboard kit which is only when these bolts are needed. Pictures on the left is the side which will not come off. Pictures on the right is the one I did get off and got an attachment for the headboard on.

We went with Mattress Firm because of their excellent sales team. Would purchase here again. Ended up buying another Tempur-Pedic with an adjustable base. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience here. Ken showed me all my options in my price range that matched my desired sleep experience, then was very helpful with the sale of the mattress. Delivery was quick and efficient, and I especially appreciated how the mattress delivery team removed my old mattress. Finally, Ken checked in with me to make sure I love my new mattress, as you can swap it out within 45 if you don’t love it. I definitely recommend Mattress Firm!
