Mattress Makers of Syracuse

We had a very pleasant experience buying a mattress. Gene was very helpful and informative. He answered all our questions. He was even able to coordinate a delivery that worked with our busy schedules. Our mattress was delivered first thing this morning. Set up was quick and efficient. Added bonus that the mattress is made right in Syracuse!

Will return whenever someone in my family needs a new mattress. Purchased a queen set on Sunday, picked it up Tuesday!! Delivery is an option but we didn't require it. Had a great first night's sleep. Gene took the time to show us the features about the different mattress styles they make right here in Syracuse. Will be recommending this store to friends and family.

We bought a futon here several years ago on a friend's advice and can not he happier with it. Guests comment on the comfort and it seems to stay new for years. Today, on the advice of a neighbor, we went back to get a mattress. What a change from the yakety-yak, constant pressure to buy we got from the big store we bought our last mattress from. What we got was expert (his family has made mattresses in Syracuse for decades) understandable advice on the features of each mattress. Our selection was not hurried, the price was excellent and the delivery will be next Tuesday. Our old mattress and box springs will be taken and go to a recycle center. What more could you ask for. Supporting a local company, great quality, price, service, and recycling of your old mattress and box springs. We will be back for our next purchase.

Ordered a queen mattress and a box spring. I was told the delivery drivers would remove my old mattress and set up the new one. They did neither. They showed up a half an hour before they were supposed to thankfully I was home from work. The older gentleman asked me to help him bring my mattress and box spring out to the truck. He grabbed the Box with the frame and walked inside. The gentleman in the truck had me take both queen mattresses out of the truck and walk them into my house. The older gentleman walks out and says I guess that's it huh. I look inside and noticed that he never set up the frame, he never even took the mattresses out of the plastic and he never set my bed up the other guy never even left the truck. Then I noticed the box spring was wrong. So I basically paid money to move my own bed out of my apartment into a truck move another bad into my house and have no frame set up.

I cant complain about the service and the staff, however I am going to complain about the absolutely worst mattress I have ever slept on. I purchased a Camillus firm mattress. within 2 months the mattress had visible depressions in it on both sides and in the middle it felt like there was a board running the full length of the mattress. I contacted the store and they took it back and I upgraded to the next firmer model which was their Cicero for an additional $ 255. Now the new one we got has done the same thing and we wake up repeatedly during the night from neck, back, shoulder and hip pain. The one thing that sold me on their mattresses is the fact that you can flip them over which you cant do with most mattresses today. However this does not seem to help. So now Im in for $755 and still cant get a decent nights sleep. They warranty their mattress for 10 years which is awesome but I don`t think I want to invest more money into another of their products for fear I will just experience more of the same .
