My wife and I purchased 2 recliners from Miller Waldrop Furniture in Ruidoso, NM. At the time of the purchase the staff were very helpful. The recliners we purchased were not in stock and needed to be shipped in from other stores. It took about a week for them to arrive. I went to the store to pick them up to avoid paying a delivery fee. On arrival, I noticed one of the recliners was put together and wrapped in Saran wrap. I thought this was strange and ask one of the delivery personnel and their response was "that was the way the recliner came in from the Lubbock store. I took the recliners home and removed the first one from the box it was shipped in. This recliner was fine. I began to unwrap the other recliner and one of the plastic cushions the recliner sets on fell out of the Saran wrap. When I leaned the recliner over to check the bottom three of these cushions were missing or broken and all the ones that were still there had black floor skid coloring to them. At this point I began to think the recliner was a floor display or a returned recliner. I called the store and spoke to the sale's person and was informed they would check into it. They called me later that day saying they were trying to get permission to remove the platform on the display model in the store and replace the one I had. I informed them this was not what I purchased. If you pay for a new recliner, you expect to receive a new one. The store delivery personnel came and picked up the recliner the next morning. They reordered the recliner but it took a month to receive. It came in a box and was fine. You may want to check the merchandise when it is delivered to make sure you are not getting a display or used item and paying full price.

This has to be one of the best furniture stores I have ever been in. I am even considering buying some items for my home in another state. Prices are also very good! Will definitely be a repeat customer. Be sure to ask for Alan, he was awesome!

We had a wonderful experience. Charla was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, patient, and efficient. Overall, we got the feeling that customer service and care were top priorities and we were very appreciative. We took advantage of the great sales on mattresses buying 3 of them for our new home today. Although we aren't quite ready for them, Charla worked with us for a delivery time that works with our schedule. We will definitely be back to shop furniture when our new home is ready for move in!
