Mountain Mattress Company’s 200‑night trial is a major reason we chose to shop here, and we truly appreciate that flexibility. We initially purchased a Tempur‑Pedic mattress and spent well over an hour in the store trying different models before making our decision. Unfortunately, the mattress didn’t work for us, and after 63 nights we returned to discuss an exchange.
This is where the experience fell short. The interaction made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than customers simply using the manufacturer’s 100‑night sleep test. The owner showed us another option quickly, and after lying on it for less than a minute, she was already heading to the computer to place the order. Compared to the time and attention we received during our initial visit, the exchange felt rushed, and the overall attitude suggested the process was bothersome.
That said, we do appreciate that Mountain Mattress Company honors their trial period and genuinely wants customers to find the right mattress. We’re hopeful this new choice will finally give us the great night’s sleep they aim to provide. With a bit more patience and engagement during exchanges, this would easily be a five‑star experience.

Mountain Mattress is absolutely fantastic. The service is top-notch from the moment you walk in — friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on helping you find the right mattress, not just making a sale. They walk you through every option and make the whole process easy and comfortable.
Fair warning though… once you start laying on the beds, you may accidentally take a “quick nap” here and there. No judgment — they make you feel right at home.
The quality of their products is excellent, and if you’re already spending the money, do yourself a favor and add the adjustable base. Best sleep I’ve ever had, especially while battling back and neck problems. Total game changer.
This is a true mom-and-pop shop that actually cares. They take the time to explain everything, answer questions, and make sure you leave happy. Mountain Mattress is hands down the best — highly recommend!

We are SO happy with our new mattress from Mountain Mattress! We had been looking for a while, but brand options were limited for us here. When we saw their new store, we immediately checked it out. Great service, great variety of brands, and very helpful information on choosing the mattress right for us. They delivered it quickly, and we've been sleeping beautifully ever since. No more aching backs for us! Oh, and they carry my favorite Beekman 1802 products, too!

We were in need of several quality mattresses immediately! We walked into Mountain Mattresses brand new store on Main St. Meagan was extremely kind and helpful. The only way that she would be able accommodate all of our needs is if we took a couple of the floor models that they had just set up.
They went WAY out of their way to get those beds to us that night, in two different locations.
Now the only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5, because the service was excellent, is that pricing was a bit on the high side. Something I'm running into more often in Sheridan.

I just moved into a new place, exhausted from the trip and dreading sleeping on the floor or an air mattress while waiting for a new bed. The wonderful people at Mountain Mattress delivered a new mattress and box spring that same afternoon (I chose one of the models that was in stock), so I was able to sleep soundly on the first night in my new home. Great product. Great service.
