The Better Mattress

Wow is all I can say! Replaced a super old mattress and had no idea what was out there. Selene was working when I came in and took great care of me. She went through my wants and needs and suggested a few mattresses that would hit everything that I was looking for. I ended up getting the Helix Midnight and from the first day it was delivered, I haven’t had a bad night of sleep. I was super happy to learn that The Better Mattress is locally owned as I’m always looking to support those types of businesses versus the big box retailers who don’t have the connection and level of service that I expect with a big purchase.

Me and my wife purchased a mattress and are very happy. Selene helped us find the correct mattress to help us sleep better. She was kind and very knowledgeable about all of the different mattresses. She was wonderful to work with will definitely go back to Selene for our next mattress.

I worked with Selene Hockenberger at the Better Mattress near Office Depot. I honestly have never experienced such an outstanding shopping experience. Selene let me try all the mattresses in my price range. She kept asking what I liked and what I wanted which allowed me to focus on the perfect mattress. She worked with me on the price to make it affordable and was willing to put a rush on delivery. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable. I felt that she led me in the right direction. I had the utmost confidence in her and she made what could have been a stressful experience an enjoyable one. I highly recommend Seline with her integrity and the Better Mattress with their selection and comparable prices. I would not hesitate to return!

I give 2 stars because the first time we went in Selene was very helpful and not too pushy. She let us try out different beds and explained each of them, very friendly. She sent us the information to apply, after applying and getting approved she called immediately and sent over a quote, which we told her we'd be back to try them out again to make our final decision. Again, wasn't hoovering over us to make a decision. We made our decision and was told it'd arrive in 7-10 business days. My husband contacted them for an update on the 9th business day, Brandon was able to send tracking info over, which said it would be delivered by Saturday. Selene followed up with on Friday saying it would be delivered Saturday and she'd call me when it arrives. No delivery or follow up Saturday or all weekend until Tuesday. I asked why I didn't receive an update all weekend, she responded with, the warehouse doesnt work weekends. Okay, then why were we told we'd get a follow up Saturday? It finally arrived at the store Tuesday and we just got it delivered after 2 and a half weeks. I feel there was not such great communication after paying for the mattress, take your money and see ya! We were not told it had to be made which is 3-5 business days, only that it would be delivered in 7-10 business days. We would have felt better had they let us know there was a delay in the delivery.

Great experience all the way around and highly recommend this business! I had done quite a bit of research before visiting the store and had some definite ideas about what I wanted. Selene was super knowledgeable about the various brands and construction. They carry a nice variety of top rated brands. Bottom line is that I totally love my new mattress and wake up feeling better than ever!
