Al-Mart Furniture and Bedding

I bought a coffee table and TV stand combo after comparing with another shop nearby. The staff explained material differences clearly, which helped me decide. Price was fair. Delivery took 4 days and came in the evening. One corner of the TV stand had a tiny chip, but since it wasn’t very visible, I didn’t bother replacing it. The items still look good in my living room and feel sturdy enough for regular use.

We got the best prices and the best customer service at this store front business on North Ave in River Forest! We had been looking on line for a sofa and a reclining chair for months! The prices were prohibitive. I saw the same blue couch I had been looking at in Al Marts window and went inside. Barry let me try everything out and answered all my questions patiently. The deal he offered us was way less than anything I had seen, within ten days we were scheduled for delivery, and the delivery people solved all the problems of my narrow stairway and they even took my door off to get the sofa in. It was a wonderful experience!! They showed me how to use the recliner/rocker before they left. They couldn’t have been nicer or more professional.

I meant to post a glowing review last year, when we bought our new reclining couch and chair from Al-Mart. Fantastic customer service, wonderfully patient with me and my chronic indecisiveness, fair price, excellent delivery service. I really wanted to support a local business with this purchase, and could not be more pleased with the transaction. Definitely recommend!

I absolutely love my new farmhouse style furniture. Al was terrific to work with as were his amazing movers - Tino and Alex! I will keep on buying from Al Mart and request the same movers too!! Superior service all around at affordable prices!!

I came to Al-Mart Furniture specifically looking for a 14-inch mattress. I was told they had one that was 13.5 inches, which I agreed to. After buying and opening the mattress, I measured it myself and it turned out to be only 12 inches. I even looked up the item number, and it’s advertised as a 12-inch mattress. When I brought this to their attention, the owner’s solution was for me to pay the difference to order the correct size. This was a misleading experience and disappointed with how it was handled .
