I would be careful ordering here. The people are nice and delivery men were very kind but if you need to return or exchange anything you may not be able to which to me should be stated up front especially when it’s something that cost over $100. Just be careful. Go to the store and make sure you know what you are buying. Purchased a king bed online and wanted to exchange for a smaller size the next day and was told they can’t do anything. Not so accommodating in my book if I can order a queen online. The store could’ve taken the king back and sold it at the store, but now I’m in a bind. Proceed with caution.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with American Furniture of Slidell. We purchased a sofa set just two months ago, and it already looks like it’s 10 years old. The cushions have flattened dramatically, the sofa has lost its shape, and it simply does not look like the quality we expected for a brand-new purchase.
When I contacted the store for help, I was told that I just needed to rotate the cushions every day. That is not a realistic solution, nor is it something a customer should have to do to keep a two-month-old sofa looking presentable. Instead of standing behind the product, I felt like my concerns were dismissed.
To make matters worse, I also purchased the extended warranty believing it would provide peace of mind if there were issues with the furniture. Unfortunately, when I needed assistance, the warranty offered no meaningful help.
I expected much better quality, customer service, and support. A sofa that is only two months old should not already show this level of wear. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing furniture or an extended warranty from American Furniture of Slidell. I bought furniture from American Furniture of Slidell. Velicia was my sales person and point of contact. I purchased a Rocker/reclining sofa, a Rocker/reclining loveseat and a Rocker/reclining chair. In June 2025 delivery was in September as I was waiting for a new set not a floor set. I am so happy with my furniture that I am coming back to buy another rocker reclining chair. And I plan on working with Velicia again as she was personable, professional efficient, and kept me up-to-date on shipping.

The best experience I've had in buying furniture probably in my entire life. I ordered online, as I live in the French Quarter and I basically knew what I wanted, and by the end of the day Victor (online sales) had called me and told me that what to expect. On the day he told me he would call, he did!! And set me up with delivery. Delivery day I was given a window of 2pm and 5pm and they showed up at 2:40 p.m. there was not once in this entire process I had to wonder where my purchase was or if I was being taken care of. It was awesome! Ive been in the customer service/tourism/retail industry in the French Quarter for 25 plus years and these guys are A+ class act customer service.
And let me just tell you how wonderful the delivery guys are! I know one was named Caleb (I can't remember the other one's name) they were so great! So polite, respectful of property and very informative about my purchase, warranty etc. they were literally in and out in less than 30 minutes.
My furniture is beautiful! Exactly what I wanted and exactly what was represented online. American furniture of Slidell was recommended by some friends of ours and will definitely be our furniture go to from now on! Thanks y'all!!

Valicia was great to work with. She helped us work out a fair price and worked with the vendor to bring our custom design for our new sofa to life. The crew delivered it to our house and set it up exactly how we envisioned. The whole family as well as all seven pets love it. Easily the most comfortable sofa I’ve ever sat on!
