Amish Oak Furniture & Mattress Co.

Beautiful furniture. Great people... Can't wait to get my new bedroom suit!

Great very well made attractive furniture!

Just left…rude salesman that told me they don’t sell off the floor and they had nothing I was looking for. I asked if there was something I could buy now and he said no. Used to really like this store and bought several things from them before they were sold. Won’t go back…. Hello, I just saw your response. I wrote this review (in shock) as my husband and I were leaving this store, so about 4 months ago. It was in the afternoon on a Friday. An older man with gray hair is who we spoke with very briefly that day. He was rude and extremely unhelpful. We were in the store literally less than 1 minute, during that time we were told everything is custom and can only be ordered. To which I asked there’s nothing we can buy today?? And he replied a curt no. We walked out. I figured the new owners really just changed the place because we had bought furniture a few other times in the past. We have since found a new source for Amish furniture so it all worked out. Thanks for your reply and hopefully you can get that guy some training in customer service :)

We purchased some furniture here last week. It is a bit pricey, but it’s such good quality. The staff here is so nice. They were very accommodating. Would recommend!

My wife and I were shopping for a few bedroom pieces to add to what we already have. We knew that we would not match perfectly the style and thought we could come close to the wood type and finish. We stopped here to see what was available in the pieces we wanted and how close we could match the wood and finish. What was displayed on the floor was nothing that interested us and everything seemed to be done in a dark, almost black finish where you can't see the wood grain; not at all what we wanted. The sales person, don't recall her name, showed us other items that could be custom ordered and tried to help us match the finish color. She kept directing us to a color panel that did not at match the color of the drawer we had to what we were adding. When we found something close, the issue of what wood was available and other factors of the finish now was requiring additional costs. We had already shopped at other Amish stores and found better matches at better pricing. This store had the style that best matched our needs. Too bad there was the wood and finish issue. That lost the sale.
