We bought our house last year, and Better Living has been our go-to from day one. We purchased all of our appliances, along with paint and every little odds and ends you could possibly need to get a home up and running. Honestly, there hasn’t been a single time we walked in and didn’t find exactly what we were looking for.
One of the owners, Johnny, is the real reason this place stands out. He is incredibly knowledgeable and takes genuine pride in what he does. Johnny doesn’t rush you, doesn’t upsell, and never makes you feel like a burden for asking questions. He takes the time to understand what you actually need, explains your options clearly, and makes sure you walk out confident in your purchase.
Whether it was helping us choose appliances, matching paint, or tracking down the little things you don’t realize you need until you own a home, Johnny was always patient, honest, and helpful. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and his business, which is rare these days.
What really sets Better Living apart is the combination of quality products, fair pricing, and personal service you just don’t get at big box stores. You’re treated like a customer they actually care about, not a transaction.
If you’re a new homeowner, remodeling, or just need a reliable place that has everything and people who know what they’re doing, I can’t recommend anywhere else than Better Living Appliance & Hardware Store enough.

Better Living literally saved the day. Our washing machine broke and the repair man said we needed a new machine. We urgently needed the machine due to a compromised individual in our home. I called as soon as I knew the machine needed to be replaced. I spoke with Ken who was AMAZING!!!!! He understood exactly what we were looking for, recommended a particular make and model and had it at our door at 9AM the next morning. This was service above and beyond the call of duty. We have previously purchased appliances from them and always received excellent care. This was exceptional. The two installers were great and had everything set up in no time!

Excellent hardware store that always welcomes customers with a smile! Eclectic assortment of everything you need with personalized assistance. I had extra keys made there that actually worked unlike HD, my car key fob battery replaced, heat pump air filters, deicer to name a few. Reasonable priced with ample parking. I highly recommend this store and will be returning for future needs.

The guys at Better Living are the best. Besides offering good prices and excellent products, they are there when you need them. Mike and Jason recently helped us when we ran into a warranty issue. They put in a lot of time and effort and resolved our problem. Thank you very much.

We purchased a washer, dryer and refrigerator at this store in July 2025 and cannot be happier with our purchases! The selection was terrific, the price was fair, the salespeople were extremely knowledgeable about their stock and their customer service was outstanding. We will be going to Better Living for all of our appliance needs from now on.
