This business may be a big Red Barn, but it is a true gem that is tucked into the community of Vergennes! With its family feel welcome walking in the door to the exceptional customer service- makes you feel like you are talking to a trusted neighbor or old friend-. The Furniture showroom is nicely laid out with different areas, but there is a wealth of other options easily available online or customizable. Don't leave without treating yourself to the travel upstairs! The natural structure of the original cow barn is truly one of Vermont's hidden jewels. If you go once you will continue to go for years a MUST check out!

Big Barn furniture hooked us up. Furniture takes forever right now to ship but they have lots in stock. Found just what I was looking for, a loveseat perfect for our small space. It was delivered the same week for a reasonable price. The dog can attest, it's super comfy.

Stopped in for the first time looking for a drawing/writing desk after striking out looking for antiques all morning. Super cool gang greeted us when we came in and told us to have a look around; I saw the perfect desk and Adam was super helpful and really hooked me up. Truly a pleasure to do business with, and the barn is indeed large. Thanks boys!!!

We purchased our table and chairs in the early spring of 2022. Every single chair was not glued or secured together. The tops were all loose. We didn’t notice at first because we only used 4 out of 8 chairs regularly. One of the chairs we used regularly fell apart after a month. We requested a replacement placement but it took a long time to arrive. We swapped out the new one and then another one fell apart. We replaced it with another chair in the set for use and that one fell apart. As we were getting ready to request a replacement we discovered every single chair was not secured. The legs and the backs were all lightly nailed, but the nails had missed their marks apparently. Best part is the replacement chair we got DID THE SAME THING. We ended up gluing them together because you know, we needed a place to sit, since we got rid of our old table and chairs. Since the replacement also broke it was pointless to keep swapping them out. The chairs are still falling apart. We need to fully replace them all. And we won’t be doing it through Big Barn. The salesman went on and on about how he’d had this same style set for decades and they are beautifully made. 🙄 We were also told the table is solid wood. It is not. I had 40 dollar amazon chairs last me 10 years. I expected more from a ‘reputable’ company that sells ‘quality’ furniture.
