When I need to purchase items that are within my budget I turn to Berkshire’s best Homemakers or Nebraska Furniture Mart both have Mr. Buffet as a top share holder so I know they live by the saying of Mrs. B “ Sell cheap - Make Money” while delivering good customer service, quality products at reasonable prices across the board. I purchased several high quality items from both — picked up one and the rest delivered by NFM on schedule and as advertised.

Loved working with Nate!! He took his time and we walked around the store a million times before we realized the ottoman needed to be a custom order. Sat down and made sure it was exactly what I wanted and matches perfectly with the rest of my furniture. Still waiting on the back ordered pillows but everyone has been super helpful.

Although I did have to wait a few weeks for my furniture set. I would absolutely buy again this set including shipping from Iowa to PA was $1000. These couches came seriously wrapped in plastic and placed into boxes with extra support they came with no damage at all no tears or anything. Also both pieces recline! If you are budgeting but also want nice couches this is the place! Definitely worth it. Will recommend to the next person

I strongly recommend you shop elsewhere. We purchased a $2,500 Jonathan Louis sectional in November and took delivery in early December. Within one month, we found a large split in the seam of one of the cushion covers. Within two months, every single cushion cover had a large seam split. Homemakers refuses to replace or refund the couch, continually implying that this is our fault somehow. Every single cushion cover needed replaced within two months of owning the couch. When they finally sent out a technician to replace the covers in April, they had misordered one of the cushions, so we're still waiting on that final cushion cover. This is absolutely egregious quality control and abysmal customer service. We're now left with a lemon couch. Oh, and did I mention that the down feathers in the lumbar cushions wiggle out and stab you? This is the worst experience I've had with any significant purchase. I'll never shop here again.

The in-store experience was mostly great on our two visits. All the associates were very helpful and I appreciate their non-commission sales set up, so there was no pressure. We purchased sofas, end tables, and a dining table. We did not end up buying a mattress but the team in that department was so fantastic with answering all our questions and coordinating our purchases. We wanted to apply for credit, so had to visit the customer service desk to finish our transactions. The team there was not so welcoming and could use additional training. We keep our credit reports frozen for security so when I asked which credit bureau they check, to be able to unfreeze, they insisted they check all of them. That didn't seem right, but I went through the process of unfreezing all my accounts - turns out it was Experian. Maybe they rotate, I don't know. The rep repeated several times if we didn't pay off the balance within a certain amount of time "we'll hit you with 18% interest" - pretty harsh way to put it from a customer service perspective. Despite her efforts, we were not dissuaded. All went fine with delivery and the delivery guy was great. Overall, we would certainly return - but avoid the desk if possible!
