Homestyle Furniture Shoppe, L.L.C.

Anita and Glen were wonderful to work with. They answered all of our questions and took time to explain the options for our pieces. This is our first purchase from them, but we are already discussing our next purchase. The dressers are both beautiful with attention to quality and detail that more than met our expectations. We can't say enough good things about Homestyle Furniture!

Homestyle Furniture Shoppe, LLC 1359 West Market St Happened, IN 46550 We were visiting family in Chicago and drove to the Homestyle Furniture Shoppe. After going to several stores, this shop stood out. We fell in love with the furniture and ordered a dining table and a couple of outdoor chairs. The craftsmanship is amazing. We just received the furniture last night and absolutely love it. I can’t wait to order more!!

We've made two purchases from this store. The first was an armoire we bought separately from a bedroom set and the second was the bedroom set that matched the armoire! Both times it was a very pleasant experience. They don't follow you around or pressure you in the least. I like the fact that you can buy the pieces separately and they have a "group" price for things like the bedroom sets. I bought the armoire for my office and when we went back to look at bedroom sets, we were able to buy the set that matched the armoire without having to buy the armoire with the set. I liked the fact that the doors are fitted with tracks that keep you from having more than one drawer open at a time (for tipping reasons or children playing with them). All other drawers lock closed when one is open, as soon as you close the open drawer, you can open another if you want. The pieces are handmade and gorgeous and have spoiled us for buying any other type of furniture but Amish made. They have no computers (other than a small device for taking credit card transactions) and they put everything in writing like in the days before computers. If you pay cash, they give you a discount (because they don't have to pay that 3% credit card transaction fee). This place is well worth the trip if you are looking for hardwood furniture of any kind (they don't carry sofa's and easy chairs, mostly cabinets, tables, bedroom furniture and other small items made of wood). We are not wealthy by any means but found the prices within our budget. By the way, the delivery guys they use are FANTASTIC! They are quick and helpful and do it without any harm to your floors or walls. They got a 5 piece bedroom set into my house, even put the bed frame together and put the headboard and footboard on as well and did it all in 20 minutes.(I wasn't expecting them to put the bed together at all) They put the dressers exactly where I wanted them as well. These guys were great and well worth the price of delivery (and a generous tip!) I posted a partial photo of the armoire and then a photo of the tall dresser in the bedroom as well as the mirrored dresser, small nightstand and bed. All are of sawn oak.

James, Glen, and Anita were great to work with. They took the time to explain the furniture specifics, place the order, and load our trailer when we arrived. We look forward to returning to look at more furniture. We started off purchasing a wind chime, then ordered a Savannah Hall seat, a Burlington Hall Seat, Chest, and two Night Stands. When we picked that group of furniture up, we also ordered two Belmont Barstools. Those should arrive in January. The furniture looks great and is very well constructed. I highly recommend purchasing furniture from this store.

We have been purchasing furniture from Homestyle for almost 20 years and have always been very pleased with the experience and the product, 100% of the time. Anita, Glen, and James are kind, helpful, know their products, bend over backwards to find what you are looking for, charge a fair price, and offer superior furniture. Whether it is delivered or picked up, they ensure everything is wrapped and packed well. Everything comes in perfect condition, clean, and ready for use. Shopping at Homestyle is a treat and something I always look forward to.
