Mattress Firm Creve Coeur

So I’m really happy I happened to walk into the store after going to the nail salon a few doors down. We knew we’d need some beds in a couple months and figured we’d test a few out while we were there. Faris and the team were great and walked us through all the different mattresses and new technology out there. We didn’t buy that day, but Faris stayed in touch as we got closer to actually needing them and let us know when sales were coming up so we’d be ready. He also made sure we got the best deal possible. The whole process has honestly been really easy. We’re still about 3 weeks away from needing delivery, but we were able to buy during the sale window and they’re holding everything until we have a firm date. They also deliver 7 days a week, which works out perfectly for us. Can’t wait until we’re finally moved in and sleeping in our new beds!

I came in and was not greeted upon entering. I stood waiting for about 10 minutes while the employee was assisting another customer, which I completely understand. However, I was never acknowledged or informed that someone would be with me shortly. A simple greeting or brief acknowledgment would have made the wait much more welcoming. He seemed like a nice person, but the lack of communication made the experience feel less inviting.

This is the second time we have purchased a mattress from this location. Always have been very happy with the knowledge of the Sales Associate. Last week we worked with Justin and he was super helpful with guiding us to our purchase! Thanks again.

We purchased a new mattress at Christmas to replace our old one that was damaged during our move. We had a Tempurpedic foam mattress and wanted to replace it with the same. However, we were shown a newer hybrid model with springs and foam. The sales person explained that many people find the new style more comfortable. We decided to go with the hybrid and asked for a firm model as that is what we had prior. The salesman then told us that he always recommends a medium as the firm is too firm for most people. We allowed him to sway our thinking and we went with it. Unfortunately it didn't work out for us. Our backs hurt almost as much as our previous old mattress. We were told that the new mattress would take at least 30 days to break in before we could really decide if it was right for us. Because of travel plans, the holidays and the rigors of moving, remodeling our home and getting settled in, time got away from us and we missed the official sleep guarantee window. We were pretty miserable and decided to go back to the store to explore our options even though we missed the official window. When I arrived at the store I was told by Leila (a manager filling in from another location) that the salesman that sold us the mattress was out and that she would try to help me. I went on to explain our mattress journey and asked for leniency in getting a replacement mattress. She explored many options and showed me the difference between a full foam bed and the hybrid like we purchased. What was explained was that the hybrids are ever as firm as the full foam mattresses because of how they are designed. So even if we bought a firm from the beginning it would never have supported us like our original foam-firm mattress. I told her that this was never explained to us and if it had been we would never had purchased it. Leila understood our plight and said that even though we were out of the sleep guarantee period she would honor the warranty if we wanted to pay the difference in cost for the more expensive firm foam mattress. I gladly paid the difference as it was well worth it to sleep well again. The new foam mattress was delivered in a few weeks and the hybrid was taken away. Well it hasn't been 30 days yet but we are already sleeping better on the foam mattress and expect it to only improve as it breaks in. We want to thank Leila for her desire to listen and help us to find a mattress that truly worked for us by carimg, and going beyond the normal boilerplate rules to make what was a poor outcome into a great outcome.
