I am so excited with my new living room and dining room furniture. More than that I can not praise amy and buddy, the owners of Melrays for helping me choose these items. With just a minimal amount of information about the color and style I favored, Amy chose a material that I LOVE. From there we were able to choose the rest of the furniture and accessories. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Amy and Buddy. They were always responsive to my calls and concerns. I very highly recommend Melray's Furniture
View on GoogleThis USED TO BE a reputable business. I have furniture from here as recent as 5 years ago and my family has shopped here for generations. However, don’t be fooled by the success of their past like I was. It seems that ever since Amy (original owner’s daughter) took over the business, it has gone downhill. It is now criminal. I ordered a bedroom set for my 2 year old son on August 28, 2023 and put down a $1400 deposit. The estimated arrival was for October or November. It never came. Then, we had a set delivery date of Dec 19, then Dec 29, then Jan 4 and so on. Every week we got a new excuse. We got everything from “weather delays” to “family emergency” even to “the owner of the warehouse died and his children won’t release the furniture”. I believed them all because I had worked with Melrays in the past and knew them to be an honest business. After waiting 6 months and still no furniture, I started to get suspicious. I read the other similar stories on various online platforms and realized that our furniture was likely never coming. My 2 year old has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for 6 months because they didn’t deliver. Amy pretended to care every step of the way, offering cheaper sets that she had in stock that we could keep “until our very nice and more expensive set was delivered”. We asked for a refund and she told us she would give us a refund. However, we never saw the refund. She claims to have mailed us a receipt but we never got it. I ordered the same set elsewhere and was able to get it delivered in just 3 weeks time. DO NOT FALL for their history like I did. They are no longer a reputable business.
View on GoogleFirst hand off if I could rate a big fat zero I would. We ordered furniture on 6/23/23 and got all kind of excuses for 6 months ! So I got suspicious and called and talked to Amy and wanted to cancel and get a refund to this day we are still waiting for it !! I feel for everyone here that got scammed ! They are a scam And take ppls money however, to the ppl that got your furniture well hats off to you all. ! Now is that fair ? No this place is a criminal business not a furniture store!
View on Googlei had cancelled my order prob more than 6 months ago and i had just got a voicemail from amy saying my order is running about a week late shell keep me updated shell hound them if need be.. i had called back and she told me i see that you had cancelled it im sorry to bother you the warehouse made it up, like whattttt these people are scammers i had an issue with them charging my card and putting it under their bakery business so i questioned it and she said the credit card machine just says that, so i had cancelled the order and they refunded my deposit.. said she didnt want any trouble. dont buy from here youll never get you furniture and theyll take ur money
View on GoogleZero stars. Never ever ever ever order furniture from them you will not get it. After waiting months and months after excuse upon excuse I never received any of my furniture. Then was told the refund would be processed and go to my bank that never happened. Then I got a refund through a check and the check bounced. Finally got the cash. I would say never ever ever ever buy from here. You will never get a piece of furniture. It is a scam and they are trying to rob people.
