My Favorite Things

Taking a short cut to another store in the Hamburg Pavillion, I saw oversized red ornaments hanging in front of a furniture and gift store. Walking into the store felt slightly overwhelming but in a good way. I knew instantly this would become one of my favorite stores. The quality of home furnishings are impeccable. In every direction I looked there were unique gifts. Gifts for her, for him even plush and cuddly gifts for baby. Gifts for every occasion celebrated including the thinking of you or that just because gift. If you enjoy gifting, you will love My Favorite Things.

I love this store. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. No matter if you’re in there and only spending a small amount of money. They make you feel the same, rather spending a small amount or large. Thank you for all you guys do.

I was given a $250 gift certificate each Christmas by a previous employer to MFT. While an expiration date was written on one of the certificates, there was NOT one on the other. I called just recently to inquire about my balance and was told that it was over $400, which would have included the certificate with the expiration date and the one without. I just took both physical certificates into the store and not only would they not accept the expired one, which I could kind of understand (even though gift certificates are paid for and should theoretically NEVER expire), they also refused to honor the certificate WITHOUT an expiration date. I was told that they "decided in their last quarterly meeting that they expired now." She also told me that she could not give me the paper certificates back and that she had to keep and shred them. What a nasty way to treat people. Please do not spend your money here!

My Favorite Things is the best furniture and gift store in Lexington! They have such a wide variety of beautiful and unique items, and the friendly sales staff is always ready to help you find that perfect gift. It's a definite go-to for bridal, baby, and housewarming gifts. They also have a wide selection of unique UK and Kentucky merchandise!

This was first time in store. I saw at least 3 ladies who worked there and none of them spoke or even smiled. I saw a few things I would have bought. One beautiful round mirror for $900 and a chrome end table for $850. However with the unfriendliness of the staff I wouldn’t have given them a dime.
