This store is so much better than the store in Utica. It's bigger and cleaner. I was there and scored on some great books. I found some autographed books by the authors. I found a good that was autographed by one of my favorite singers, who wrote a cookbook. It was $6.99 on her website, and autograph copies of her book were selling for $75. They have some great deals on items and different products too.

I had an unsettling experience at the New Hartford location for returning a sealed mattress within 11 days of purchase. I called this location to confirm they could accept returns from other locations before coordinating and making the drive. I was honestly very nervous when I got there based on the NH experience, however, the staff was incredible from the beginning. I was hesitant they'd accept and the cashier pointed to the wall for showcasing the 30 day no hard time return policy and exclaimed "we love our customers" amidst the exchange. Store was also noticeably clean and organized. Values aligned to the writing on the walls. Looking forward to doing business with this location.

I love ollie's and I am very pleased that I no longer have to drive to new Hartford it's right in Rome.and clean as well...they always have so many things and priced accordingly... They have Mattresses,Rugs,socks,towels,they even have exercise equipment air-conditioning units, umbrella's for you or for your outside tables.. and appliances which I forgot they had when my can opener no longer worked..I found a unique cat tree and I wasn't able to locate the box and Kayla a worker was so helpful she made my visit even more enjoyable..I will be back for more shopping and to pick up that cat tree..Thank you Rome store....

Shopped Ollie's in Utica for years. Was delighted when Ollie's in Rome opened. We stop there 3-5 times a month. I realize our few hundred dollars a month isn't going to make or break them. However, when you are in your mid & late 70s and inquire concerning locked restrooms that were usually open and get scolded & rudely chastised by a loud, degrading cashier who responded to our inquiring by saying, "tough"...among other rude remarks as she cashed us out at $60. plus dollars!
