Ollie's Bargain Outlet

We found perfect rugs at Ollie’s. The store is similar to any bargain store. The way they keep costs down is by not having what the traditional big box stores have onsite. Yes, you may have to go through a stack of rugs or look up and down several racks. I promise it will be worth it if you can help yourself and also walk around the store. I’ve found great buys. Also, you will find affordable snacks. At the discount price you can afford to buy something that traditionally you would not buy.

The store always looks dingy, most of the food is either expired or days away from it. Management is terrible and basically non-existent. Every time I come in there the store manager is always on vacation and the assistant manager is hardly there when he's not. The employees talk about inappropriate topics for work loudly and the tall, skinny manager refuses to get on a register when the line is wrapped around the isle and will give you and attitude about everything and anything. I took my grandchild to use the bathroom and there were feces smeared all over the walls and floor and even had them in the garbage can. I will never shop at ANY Ollie’s ever again. They barely have working air conditioning which is dangerous for anyone let alone elderly customers. If I could give negative stars I would

I am not a fan of the customer service I received. I was trying to price match a product from another store and the manager simply said to go back to that store. The manager was very condescending. Then he walked away. I don’t know what the rules are regarding price matching. He could simply said they are not willing to price match. I felt belittled. I don’t think I’ll come back to Ollie’s.

Honestly, this is what I expect from an Ollie's. Total chaos. I understand they aren't staffed well enough to keep shelves perfect, but every time I'm here it's in complete disarray. Staff is less than excited to be there either, which reflects perfectly in the organized chaos throughout the store. I don't need to be treated like royalty or chatted like we're old friends, but I've checked out with a cashier and never had a word spoken to me more than once

You can go to Walmart and never be recognized until they want your money! I'm not saying it's okay for Ollies employees to not talk to you, but unfortunately we get what we accept!!! We've started shopping less and less at Walmart! They need to earn our business! After all, we are the ones paying their salary to be rude to us!! RIGHT??
