This company is contracted to furnish apartments for homeless veterans who are placed into housing through federally funded programs like the Salvation Army and Section 8. On the surface, it sounds like a generous, mission-driven operation. In reality, it’s something very different. They drastically inflate the value of furniture to maximize what they can bill to these programs. A basic couch that might retail for $800–$900 is suddenly marked up to over $2,000. A small bookshelf worth $100 is billed as $300. These inflated prices allow them to profit significantly—at the direct expense of both the taxpayer and the veteran. Worse, when a product fails, they will simply cut you off and pocket the money for broken items. I requested a return for a broken heavy-duty fan they supplied— essential for my new appartement during summer. When it was delivered, I tested it in front of their delivery driver, who saw that it was clearly broken and even called the office to confirm this—right in front of me. Despite this, Paramount repeatedly sent back the same broken fan I had returned, still out of the box and easily identifiable as the original defective unit. When I pointed this out, they refused to replace it and told my caseworker, without any justification, “It works just fine. We just can’t make her happy so we don’t want to bother driving out there to replace it.” This isn’t a company that supports veterans. It’s a company that supports its bottom line—at the expense of those it’s supposed to serve. Paramount Mattress should not be profiting from public funding while giving their vulnerable clients broken goods, refusing replacements, keeping the item and then pocketing the money. That isn’t just disrespect of a veteran: it’s akin to theft of the American taxpayer.

Purchased an extra firm mattress from them in November 2016. They said there was a 5-year warranty if used without a boxspring and a 10-year warranty if used with a boxspring. Less than 5 years went by and the bed is not holding up as firm as before. Certain parts are not as firm as others any more. I contacted them about the warranty and what my options were. They informed me that they were refusing to honor their warranty. I would not recommend them and will definitely not be going back to them.

Prison Bed ....Avoid PARAMOUNT MATRESS BECAUSE THEY PROVIDED A JUNK MATTRESS & ARE BIASED TOWARDS LOW INCOME CONSUMERS. The mattress is hollow inside except for the metal coiled springs and and 1/4 inche of foam! There is an old uhaul moving blanket inside as lining on the bottom inside. That is it. There is nothing else inside of the bed except metal razor sharp coils and THOSE metal coils ARE MAKING CONTACT WITH THE BODY SINCE THERE IS THE Only a 1.5" inch foam layer. When we called to resolve and address the low quality and metal poking through the foam I was told this is what you get and they had no interest in dealing with me directly. THEY sent out emails trying to cover up for the junk products. So I opened the bed up and the photos are up. Literal junk.

I purchase a twin size mattress orthopedic For the back support and the bed frame on Mother's Day for my mother once it arrived it was new but the bed Fame is falling apart was not built right and the orthopedic support twin mattress did not last falling apart what a dump I remember that day I tried to get free or discount delivery since I'm from the neighborhood of Boyle Heights local and the fat owner was rude to me and said if gas was free. I still well im trying to get a good deal.

I purchased a top of the line mattress from these people 4 years ago from the Dump. My mattress is clearly coming apart. I do get a limited warranty from Paramount Mattress but, they want to charge me $370.00 shipping on it, since I don't live in an area they service. $370 shipping seems like their cost on a new mattress to me. Don't buy their products.
