After buying furniture from Story & Lee for the 1st time, it’s easy to understand why they’ve been a regional institution for over 55 years! They have a huge selection of quality furniture at very reasonable prices. Lindsey was amazingly helpful and courteous, answering our many questions and helping us find exactly what we were looking for. The free, no hassle delivery is just extra icing on the cake. I can’t speak highly enough about our buying experience. We’re sold on Story & Lee!

Sharing this genuinely, not as a “disgruntled” client. My husband and I drove two hours to look for furniture for our first house. No one spoke to us for the first 40 minutes we walked around, a gentleman did look at us (seemingly a manager maybe) and asked if anyone had spoke to us, or helped us yet. We said no sir, he then looked worried and apologized and let us know he would find someone to help us. Another 20 minutes passed, still no one spoke with us. I then asked a lady for help, showed her a few things we were interested in, asked questions and most of them were dismissed or well “you get what you get” type attitude. This genuinely made me sad, because we drove all of that way and were ready to purchase furniture only to have not been helped at all. In fact, she pointed us to the couches I specifically said I did not want. As a service professional, and someone who runs a family owned business myself - I would’ve appreciated someone who took into consideration what we were looking for, and giving us options or suggestions for what we wanted. We got nothing of the sort and were basically dismissed then entire visit. My husband and I agreed we would kindly take our business elsewhere. We bought a $4000 couch a few hours later at another business who treated us very kindly when we walked in the door, gently asked what we were looking for, gave us direction and said if we had any questions please come back to them and they would be happy to help, we were checked in on and gave us directions to go look at and we found something that was perfect for us, and by no means is this to slander this business, but if this happened in my place of business I would want to know so I can correct the situation and retrain. I hope this helps someone and I hope this is a kind reminder to be kind.

We had a fantastic experience with Story & Lee Furniture. Tony, our salesman, was excellent—very helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from start to finish. They truly have the largest selection in north Alabama and southern Tennessee, and the prices were great. The delivery team was also outstanding: they communicated clearly about arrival time, set everything up perfectly, and cleaned up afterward. Highly recommend Story & Lee Furniture for both service and selection!

Took my Nana to buy a couple of power lift chairs, dealt with Terry. Also talked to Roy Story. Having worked many years in sales, I was very impressed with their level of customer service. When I was much younger I also delivered furniture and the delivery personnel, Quinton and Derrick, were very professional and courteous as well. I'd highly recommend shopping at this furniture store.
