Any one looking for affordable quality furniture, roll on over to That*Furniture Store in Salisbury, MD! That* store’s inventory will not disappoint you. Take it from a Tarheel Native, who has been shopping for a recliner and couch for five months here in Delmarva, this place has the best buyers in the area. I custom designed a couch from Hickory, NC (furniture capital of the world) that will take eight weeks. Got floor inventory beautiful recliner delivered today, for an extra fee. So drive yourself over to the best customer service, run by two generations of furniture dealers. Save time and start here for small items and bigger furniture, you won’t regret it!

After visiting this location for a piece of furniture that myself and my uncle were looking for for an Airbnb I was initially met by a friendly sales woman named Ashley. I had interest in a sectional that was made of Italian leather that was listed for $5400. After initially being told that that was the only one and they would have to order one I said I would come back, but then she offered to sell the one to me off of the floor. At a non-discounted cost at that (ok cool). I then stated that I would come back as I was looking at an almost identical piece at another location and if they didn’t have it in stock, I would not purchase a floor model At $5400 when I can get an almost identical piece for $5200 at another local store that is brand new. She then offered to sell me the piece of furniture Or check her warehouse to make sure she really didn’t have another and give me free delivery which was an $80 Discount. I said OK… Once she verified that she did Indeed have one in the warehouse and that it was the same color I told her great we would purchase. I needed to talk it over with my partner to let him know that I had secured a piece of furniture as he was at another store. I advise I would give her a call back shortly and we would arrange the Purchase. The sale rep called me multiple times which is ok but was very pushy and miraculously within an hour of me leaving an empty store had 3 different customers looking at the same sectional. I told her ok understood and myself or my uncle would contact her back To arrange the Purchase shortly. She didn’t call back a final time Being very pushy and said that she didn’t want to sell it from under me and ask for a deposit (Odd) And not the norm for furniture store. I never asked her to hold this piece of furniture, but I said that I would purchase it and under That if someone purchased it before I got back That it was OK. I then advised her that the deposit was fine as we wanted it and would pay her half in the morning and bring her cash. This employee seemed taken aback by me wanting to pay the deposit in cash and said "ummmmm cash???" I jokingly said yes some people still use cash is that ok? The rep then asked do I think I could do a card NOW over the phone. I told her never mind that her response to me paying cash was very unprofessional and her behavior was unprofessional and pushy. This is why I never should’ve strayed from my original furniture store that I use. No sales rep in 10 years has ever been this way at Outten Bros. If I could leave zero stars i would. I hope this gets addressed or maybe they just don’t like making money. I’d say $5400 for a sectional is $5400 regardless if it’s cash, credit or debit. Blessings

This store always has the most unique pieces! I bought 2 orange chairs and then a few months later a bench popped up that was similar so I got that too! Everyone is super helpful. Everything I’ve purchased has been delivered quickly and easily. I love checking their new inventory! :)

I love this store! Whenever I'm in Salisbury, I made sure to stop in there to see what they have. Their selection is amazing, and the staff is so friendly. I scored this gorgeous jelly roll cabinet the first time I was in there.

I love THaT* Furniture store! When we bought our house and needed furniture I was super afraid of the amount we would need to spend. We went into THaT* furniture store as one of our first to see prices and ideas and we were blown away by the selection, quality and price. Needless to say we have been back a few times since. No pushy sales people following you around the store, although someone is always easily accessible to answer questions, measure and give ideas. Fun to just browse their unique items. I think it’s about time for another trip in :)
