We recently purchased a custom sofa from American Home, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish.
We worked with Priscilla in the store, who was attentive, knowledgeable, and thorough in helping us choose the exact configuration, fabric, cushion type, and color. She made the process feel easy and ensured every detail was right.
The sofa was built to our specifications and delivered yesterday.
The delivery experience was equally impressive. Scheduling was clear, and we received regular updates throughout the day with accurate ETAs. The white-glove team was professional and respectful. They unpacked everything, brought it into the house, and placed it exactly where we wanted it.
Everything about the experience felt seamless, organized, and handled with care. There’s a good reason they’ve been in business here for 90 years. For furniture buying in Albuquerque, you can do no better. Buying online may be convenient, but you don’t get the opportunity to test the furniture, learn about the product from knowledgeable staff, or receive this level of attentive delivery and service.

I purchased a recliner from American Home Furniture & Mattress for my sister back in October. It was finally delivered today,
more than four months later. The delivery team was excellent and handled everything with real care, and they deserve full credit for that. It was a five star delivery!
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was extremely frustrating. We were given multiple delivery dates and shifting explanations for months, none of which turned out to be accurate. It shouldn’t take this long, or require this much follow‑up, to receive something that was paid for in full.
I’m relieved the chair finally arrived, but based on this experience, I won’t be shopping at American Home again.

We just had our beautiful American furniture three-piece living room set delivered. Robert and Josh were excellent and highly recommend them for home deliveries. Our salesperson Allie was also excellent and the experience was very good. We bought most of our furniture in the past from American and this is why they are great with customer service as well. Can't wait to start enjoying the new set

Best furniture store I have ever been to. We especially appreciated our salesman Russell Berry who was very patient, informative, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Best of all, he did not pressure us.
Delivery was on time. I really like that you could see the location of delivery truck in real time. We were also informed by messenger the trucks arrival time. Guys were efficient at unloading and set up.
Lastly, we are very pleased with the look and quality of the couches we bought. Five stars!
