Great store, great prices, good staff and service

The saleswoman was very thorough and understanding. She didn’t try to oversell and was very accommodating with me and my two small kids. She did all she could do to help us find a comfortable mattress and gave us options and was very low pressure which I appreciated.

In February I purchased a chair from Ashley furniture in Massena (Potsdam store is same owners) they told me it would be in in a month. Every month they would say next month. June first I canceled my order and asked for a refund. They promptly refunded the price of the chair but I paid $107 for extra service/ repair service. They told me that there is only a 90 day refund on the service plan and since it’s past 90 days they will have to see if they can get a refund from them. Here we are June 11th and I’m still trying to get my $107 back. Ashley refuses to give it to me because it’s through “another company” even though it’s 100% Ashley’s fault for not delivering the chair when promised. Ashley’s could easily issue me a refund for the service plan since it’s their fault and when the other company responds they might be reimbursed. My family has done business with Ashley’s since they opened local locations. Never again. I hope the $107 they cheated me out of us well worth the loss of business.

We purchased a recliner from Ashley furniture in Potsdam in December 2016. Within the first month, the wooden frame cracked resulting in a very sharp edge. We had a one year warranty on the product and called immediately to either have the chair fixed or replaced. We've been getting the run around from the the sales manager for the last year. They say their store representative says that since the chair is still technically usable, they don't have to replace or fix the chair. When one of three small children gets cut on the sharp edge, maybe they'll reconsider. The best they could do was offer a $100 discount after fighting for nearly a year. Would never recommend shopping here. Terrible customer service. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

The woman we talked to did nothing but high pressure sales BS. Acted like she was getting us super good deals that would expire tomorrow when in reality the sale was running till fourth of july and half of it was just overpriced in the store and she was just matching the online price. Beware of the price tags and "getting you a deal."- For the most part it's smoke and mirrors, so go online and check prices for yourself prior to coming (cell service sucks inside!) so you can sniff the BS.
