I waited weeks for a duvet and cover from Avocado. When it finally arrived, the cover was torn in multiple places after one gentle wash. Masie S., their "Customer Experience Assistant Manager", offered me a vague “priority remake”—aka more waiting—and no accountability. For a company that sells “luxury” and “sustainability,” they’re shockingly careless with quality and customer experience. Extremely disappointed and would never purchase again.

The only good thing I can say Are the sales ladies in the store are very nice. I purchased a mattress attempting to return it. I have to wait 30 days. 30 days have been up I completed the steps to initiate the return. The mattress has been sitting in my hallway for quite some time now. Multiple steps have to happen in order for them to take the mattress, and even longer to refund your money. I’ll never use this company again how I know the return policy would be this difficult. And knowing a large mattress would be just sitting in my hallway for quite some time

Purchased quite a few avocado products a twin bed, crib bed, mattress covers, fitted sheets, pillow and pillow cases. All the products worked well. I purchased pillow cases in advance in anticipation of using toddler pillow for my son. Well I had finally opened up the package and after the first wash following the instructions on the label. The seam opened on one of the pillow cases. I reached out to customer service and was told since they only cover a year they couldn’t help me. With all the money I have invested into the company without any prior issues you would think a pillow case issue would be addressed. Nope nada; so keep that in mind they only stand by product quality for 1 year of date of purchase. Even if the product is stored and not used immediately from that time. Loyal customer lost over a pillow case.

Terrible shipping! I received my bed from super quick and still waiting on mattresses. Every time I speak to someone I get different answers and it keeps getting delayed. I recommend buying frames but not mattresses unless you don’t care about waiting time

Purchased July 22, 2022. Despite rotating the mattress as instructed monthly and for over two years though only required to rotate for a few months, this Avocado king mattress developed a spring sag early on in September 2022. I reported it with images in 2022, and was told it was normal. Fast forward to June 2024, and a second obvious spring sag has manifested itself. I submitted a new claim and images as instructed along with supporting images of the slat bed employed and was notified that there was no issue, claim denied. Well, there is an issue and I only weigh 185 lbs. and have rotated this mattress monthly and well beyond what was required. I am feeling discomfort now. I view this as a ticking time bomb that will eventually fail completely, especially after reading several other reviews that point out this issue. Avocado will not stand behind its warranty and product claims as far as I am concerned are systematically denied. It's how they roll!
