Bruce's New & Used Furniture

My girlfriend and I just moved to Iowa and needed everything to furnish our new apartment. A few months ago we walked into Bruce’s furniture and within 15 minutes we found and bought the perfect couch. Same thing happened yesterday afternoon, when we needed a king mattress. Stepped foot into the store, was greeted by the wonderful staff and then already was checking out in 15 minutes with a new mattress! They just always have what we are looking for with great prices.

Ever since I moved here back in 21, I've always went through Bruce's new and used furniture store to furnish my place and everything I've gotten has been brand new. The employees there are friendly and respectful. Great atmosphere.

Excellent experience, the owner Cheryl was very helpful and pointed me to the best spots for what I was looking for and I was out the door with something that fit my needs for a very fair price in 10 mins. Definitely worth a look if you're in the market for some new or used furniture.

I bought 2 couches and a swivel rocker recliner on Feb 18, 2022. Everything was fine until Feb/March of 2023, then the $699.00 swivel rocker recliner started to pull apart on my left side. The nails were pulling apart from the wood. I called Bruce’s in March 2023 to advise. I sent pictures to them and was advised they couldn’t do anything since it had been over a year. Yes, barely and shouldn’t a $700 product last more than a year? They didn’t even offer me money off if I came to get a new chair. Shouldn’t a company stand by their product?

I enjoy the interactions with the owners of the store. With that being said, the daughter is less than accommodating. I attempted to schedule my deliver for later in the day after the rain tapered off but was informed that because I was one of two delivers the window of time could only be a half an hour. Please keep in mind they offer any weekend delivers.
