A wonderful experience. Did two trips, first to select reclining loveseat and chairs, seconf to select matching footrests for chairs. In between, a perfect delivery. Rose was so helpful in selecting styles and complementary colors.
View on GoogleI’ve purchased 2 leather sectionals from Chapin Furniture in an attempt to support local while also purchasing what I thought was a higher quality piece of furniture compared to what is offered online. They offered a generous military discount and I used that savings to purchase the 3rd party protection plan. The sofas I’ve purchased simply don’t hold up to normal everyday use over the course of a few years. The first was a custom Bassett leather couch (over $4000) and that was replaced with a “cheaper” $2800 equivalent sized leather sectional. After the first year of very normal/light use, the stain of the leather began to deteriorate quite rapidly. Most on all of the stitching seams, where your feet go on the chaise, and other touch points. It got to the point of being somewhat embarrassing when guests would come over and they’d ask “Where’d you get that couch, so I know where to not buy a couch?” So the couch got relocated to my climate controlled garage and replaced with a new couch that was purchased online. I filed a claim with the 3rd party protection company and it was denied which was a bummer. I was under the impression a situation like this was the reason for purchasing the protection plan. Regardless, I wouldn’t expect a “higher quality” couch to show this much wear from one dude sitting on it a few hours a week after a couple years. Fooled me twice, shame on me.
View on GoogleWe have ordered a piece of furniture to be delivered. Our salesperson April Hiscock was great to work with and found a piece we really liked. We do wish the delivery fee was not quite so much but are thankful it can be delivered.
