Kaye is truly exceptional! She helped me pick out an adjustable bed and mattress for my father's 92nd birthday. Her expertise guided me away from what I was thinking, and for safety reasons suggested a mattress which is firm around the edges so when he sat up on the bed, he wouldn't slide off. Additionally, she set up a convenient time of day for the delivery and set up and because of a recent fall which affected his mobility she organized that the bed would also be made up for him! The day before the delivery, I realized that his existing sheets would probably not fit the new mattress. I called Kaye in a panic. As I live out of state Kaye offered to help. She went above and beyond and out of the goodness of her heart, on her own time that night using her own money she not only bought us a new set of sheets, checking with me via text that I liked what she was picking out, washed and dried them and coordinated with the delivery people to get them on the truck before they left that next morning to set up the bed. She did with her own money and time with the understanding that I would send her a check in the mail. Around the holidays check took a while to get there. Kaye was perfectly happy and trusting to do this. I would recommend Coastal Bedding as the place to go and Kaye as a excellent salesperson !!!

The store attendant, Barbra, made my partner and me feel extremely unwelcome. When I politely asked if I could lay on a bed to try it out, her immediate response was, “Well, are you going to buy one?” I was shocked. Regardless of my age or what she might assume, it’s common sense that customers test products before purchasing—especially mattresses. Because of her rude and dismissive attitude, I will gladly take my business elsewhere. No one should be made to feel like they don’t belong in a store. Edit: Barbra is the name she gave me. 100% positive it was your show room, the store located next to 5-below. She was older, short and stocky with white hair and an attitude.

Ruth at Coastal Bedding in Hardeeville, SC did a great job helping us as we investigated different mattress options. She listened to what we wanted and provided us with detailed information so that we could make our decision.
