Denver Mattress

We purchased a new mattress today from Denver Mattress (south salem) and the salesperson Riley was a pleasure to work with. Riley is obviously knowledgeable and very customer service oriented. He has a non pressure sales approach, didn’t push us towards the high priced mattresses and approached the sale with our needs and comfort in mind. The store got relatively busy after we started shopping and Riley was the only salesperson available but he was able to greet and meet new customers when they came in and stay attentive to our purchase. We appreciate his style of sales, sharing his knowledge and friendly approach! Highly recommend for anyone’s mattress/pillow or bedding needs!

My husband and I went to check out prices on mattresses for Memorial Day sales and ended up buying one from here after stopping at 3 other places. Chayse was friendly, very knowledgeable and had a zero pressure approach. It was a relaxed process and we are very happy with our purchase. After signing a financing contract, I extended my hand in a normal and respectful greeting. Instead of a standard handshake, the guy suddenly yanked my hand in a forceful way, like he was trying to assert dominance. It came across as insecure and unnecessary. A handshake is supposed to show respect — not prove strength or control. I genuinely question who taught him that this is an appropriate way to greet people. Delivery was scheduled for Wednesday, yet even that was mishandled. They called from an unfamiliar number, left no text message, and then left as if customers are expected to answer every unknown call instantly. There was no proactive communication and no real effort to make things right the same day. From the handshake to the failed Wednesday delivery, the entire experience felt poorly managed and unprofessional. Individuals like this would hurt any business they work for. Because of the overall experience, I canceled the financing agreement and requested a refund.
