Furniture Max

This place is a scam and has been “relocation clearance sale” for years now. Furniture Max preys on military families when they move to this area with signs indicating a major clearance sale. A salesman who claimed to be Max himself, said they were moving locations more than a year ago. Don’t believe these lies and aggressive sales tactics. We bought a sectional couch and had major regrets on quality. We live locally and see the signage for clearance sale every day at these busy intersections, and they are merely tactics to get you in the door.

So we bought almost 8000 dollars furniture for the whole house move in and we are very disappointed to say the least. First of all, the store is supposed to be closing, since, it seems forever. They use this ploy to sell their furniture as is and create an impression products are on sale. This seems to be one of the strategies these furniture stores use to clear out inventory. Second, they were supposed to be in a close out sell but most of their items were not on sale. Third, Be careful taking the sells representatives word and promise seriously. Anything that they promise such as delivery time and warranty should be in black and white. So our orders came late and when it came the bed came broken and they had to take it back. To get that bed back, we had to basically beg this people for months. Getting tired of waiting, we requested for a refund but the store refused. We were promised a five year warranty by the sells manager which never materialized. She claimed we will get an email from corporate which never came. Even after repeated requests she never provided to us.

I started going to this store in 2020 and I still go there for everything. I met John and Brian. It has been such an honor to work with them. They are extremely pleasant and very friendly. Not the typical pushy salesman!! They purely have the interest of the costumers at heart and will do everything it takes to make their buyers happy!! Even if something is not available immediately they have always gone above and beyond to satisfy my buying needs. The quality of the furniture is excellent and durable!! Price almost unbeatable. I can't imagine shopping anywhere else but at Direct furniture as long as Brain and John are there still there. They are simply excellent at what they do and I am very happy to always work with them

Brian and Josh are exceptional. We made several changes to our custom order and each time they both worked with us to make sure our order met our ever changing needs. The price beat all other stores we tried. I highly recommend Direct Furniture for your custom furniture purchase. We are extremely pleased with our new sofa and matching recliners. This place is 100% the WORST furniture place I've ever been to. On top of their terrible customer service, they are also way overpriced compared to other furniture stores who are actually well known and additionally this place will cheat you on its quality. My cousin ordered a whole bedroom furniture set from here, when it came in, the furniture was totally different compared to what we saw and felt in the store. We tried communicating with the general manager and the other manager in the store, but they refused to talk to us. I guess since they already got our money, they don't care anymore about their customer/client. If the owner of this business really cares about staying in business, then we suggest that he changes his staff as well as actually deliver the quality of furniture that the customer asked and paid for. With enough proof on our side, a dispute with my cousin's bank is ongoing for this issue. So, piece of advice to whoever is also unhappy with their experience here, don't settle for cheap furniture that you paid so much for. If they don't try to fix their mistake, then just report it.
