HOM Furniture is one of my favorite places to browse when I’m looking for home inspiration. The store is always incredibly clean, bright, and inviting, which makes it a pleasure to walk through at your own pace. I often find myself just wandering around, taking photos of pieces I like so I can go home and think about how they might fit my space.
One thing I really appreciate is the attention to customer comfort. The bathrooms are consistently clean and easy to access, which isn’t something every store gets right. They also offer complimentary pop and cookies, which adds a nice, welcoming touch to the overall experience.
The staff strikes a good balance—they’re not pushy or constantly hovering, which I personally prefer. That said, there are times when it can be a bit difficult to track someone down if I do have a question. Still, it’s a minor inconvenience compared to the overall positive experience.
I’ve never had a bad visit here, and it’s a place I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for furniture or just some inspiration for their home.

Virginia at Hom was VERY helpful in finding a comfortable recliner for our RV. The two delivery guys were on time and very efficient. Took the old recliner and set up the new one in about 5 minutes! Highly recommend Hom.

I highly recommend dealing with Virginia Mold if you go to HOM FURNITURE in Hermantown, MN. My daughter, who is 5 years old, and I went here because they were open late, which worked great for our schedules and we had been looking on their easy to navigate website for a new couch. Virginia greeted us when we walked in and did not make me feel pressured into talking with her. She said hello, asked how we both were and then kindly introduced herself. She said I am here to help you if you need or have any questions I'll be over in this area please come find me if you need anything. I said thank you (thinking back to before we walked in how I hope we're able to roam alone and look around) but after her greeting I was like... I would actually like your help please and guidance. I told her, I have never bought a brand new couch and don't know what I'm looking for besides a deep one that's very comfortable. We must have looked at every couch there but it was only her second recommendation that was PERFECT!
We got to the part of paying and I found out that they charge for delivery, set up, AND to take our old couch away. I WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT. I also did not like the vibe that I got from the other female worker there. She never greeted us, introduced herself, or asked how we were, nothing. She did end up helping Virginia help us which changed my mind about her but it just would have been nice to see her more happy, helpful, and excited to be there I guess. I told Virginia if it weren't for her and how nice and helpful she was we would not have ended up purchasing what we did because of all the extra fees and costs on top of the price of the couch. She was pleasantly surprised I said that and thanked me. It was true though.
Virginia made my daughter (and I) so happy with a gift. It was this cute beautiful hand sewn bag she made. She mentioned in her spare time she makes them for her customer's. How sweet! Then the email I got from Virginia right away this morning thanking us for such a great visit and purchase, quoting phrases my daughter had said while we were there shopping, was the cherry on top of such a pleasant interaction. I hope Virginia achieves all her goals in life and lives as comfortable as our new dream couch she found us! THANK YOU AGAIN VIRGINIA AND HOM FURNITURE STORE!!!!!!!

I Just bought a bed and recliner at HOM. The store is beautiful and modern. Eric was extremely knowledgable and helpful. He not only gave good advice on what type of bed to get, he also made sure I got the best price and received all the available discounts.

Heather Jensen and the staff at the Hermantown store are amazing! The delivery crew from Anoka are professional, careful, polite and move quickly !
