This store provided the worst experience. We bought an extension table from them and it didn’t come with the extension panel in the center. We had confirmed with the sales person that this was in fact an extension table and he verified with the details on his tablet. Upon delivery， it didn’t come with the center panel and we called them for the missing part. They called back later in the day that this table doesn’t come with the panel. We wanted to return it but they were going to charge us with the 10% restocking fee. This is very unethical to put the error on the customer. We went to the store the next day to explain to them the whole situation and they still wouldn’t remove the restocking fee as it is their policy. This is unfair to the customer as we weren’t never told that it doesn’t come with the panel. This is a senseless product. Lol. See picture. The table can extend but wouldn’t provide you with the panel on top. Be careful when buying from them.

I bought a sectional sofa from Living Spaces in Milbrae for $1000. They promised free delivery at the time of purchase. When the sofa was delivered, I noticed a tear on the fabric before even removing the plastic wrap – it was clearly damaged from the store. I went back to the store with photos and asked for an exchange. Their response? They can exchange it, but I have to pay $99 + tax for them to pick up their own defective product. I refused because the damage is not my fault – I never even unpacked the sofa. The staff said "that's the rule." I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was "not available." I asked who the assistant manager was, and a person named Dallon said "me." He repeated the same thing. I am a returning customer – I bought another sofa from them in 2021. But they don't care about loyalty or basic consumer rights. Now I am stuck with a brand new, defective $1000 sofa that I have to use as-is, or pay extra for their mistake. This is wrong. If you sell a defective product, you cover the return shipping. The customer should not pay a single dollar. Do not trust their "free delivery" – they will find a way to charge you if something goes wrong. Very disappointed. I will never shop here again.

Phenomenal value for a little bit of quality hit. Definitely a good place to get a lot of bang for your buck.

We purchased a couch from the Living Spaces Millbrae location on February 26 and were promised free delivery. The in store experience was smooth, and Vivian Cruz assisted us. Rico from the fleet department was especially helpful and stood out in a positive way. At checkout, we were asked to choose our preferred delivery date and time. We selected 10:00 AM on February 27, which was my wife’s birthday. On delivery day, we received no communication and no delivery at 10:00 AM. I began calling at 8:00 AM and contacted Living Spaces five to six times through their call center since there is no direct number to the Millbrae store. After hours of waiting and multiple calls, we were informed that the delivery had not even been properly placed in the system. I took time off work specifically for this 10:00 AM delivery and lost income as a result. The couch did not arrive until approximately 6:00 to 7:00 PM that evening. While Rico and Ahmed did their best to help once the situation was escalated, the overall process was extremely disorganized. The third party delivery company, LUGG, was unprofessional and arrived unprepared to complete the job smoothly. Living Spaces promotes convenience and a seamless experience. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. The lack of communication, scheduling error, and financial impact made this a very frustrating situation. I hope management reviews their delivery scheduling system and third party contractor standards so other customers do not experience the same issue.

This whole shopping experience was perfect. Both Kelly and Dylan were very helpful and friendly. They gave us all the answers to our questions while still leaving us the space to try different options out and talk about them to each other. The products seemed very high quality and we were able to take our time testing all the many choices. We bought our bed on Monday afternoon and it was delivered and setup at 9:00 AM Tuesday morning. Also the two men who delivered the bed and set it up were great. Very kind and helpful clean people who respected our property and were very patient with our requests to move it this way and pin the dangling labels on the base up out of the way. Overall from walking through the door of the store to enjoying the new bed in our house it was a very good experience for us.
