A friend recommended Lori's Half Price Mattress. I had never heard of it, and was happy to know there was a local mattress store I could go to in Sebastopol. My mom and I made an appointment with Lori to try out mattresses in her showroom. She was super helpful in finding the best mattress for what I needed. I was tired of a foam mattress that was hurting my back, and was surprised and happy to know most of her mattresses were not foam. The store is very clean and has a variety of quality mattresses to choose from. Lori was upfront, honest, and on the ball. After testing out a bunch of mattresses in the store, we ended up buying a Hughes PT Pleasant Queen mattress. Lori DELIVERED the mattress to my doorstep in her truck-- even helping to carry in the mattress to my home herself the same day for no extra charge. Fantastic service and product. We were happy to be able to support her local business, and highly recommend it to others.

Best service and a great price. If you are looking for a quality mattress that is affordable I would definitely recommend Lori's half price mattresses. The owner Lori is so kind and really is there to make sure you find the mattress that is right for you. I have had one of her mattresses for 6 years and it's still so comfortable! I only just bought another one because I left that one at my moms house for when I visit.

We were so happy to find Lori during our search for a new mattress over Memorial Day weekend. I emailed her and she got right back to me to set up an appointment the next day. During our visit she walked us through the various options with no hard sell. We went to several other stores, but we ended up back with Lori and got a great deal. To top it off, she and her son hand delivered our new mattress! We'll definitely go back when we need a new one!

Two years ago, Lori did a great job helping me choose a moderately priced, good-quality mattress. She was patient with my questions and doubts and provided excellent information. I am writing a review now because I realize the mattress has held up well and remains comfortable. The mattress is still like new. Lori communicates well and is conscientious about providing good service. I recommend her!

I was shopping for a "mattress upgrade" for my 16-year-old son, who has been sleeping on a too-short twin bed for years, and I always prefer to shop locally at small businesses if possible. Fortunately, Lori's Half-Price Mattress came up in a web search, and I called the number right away. Lori met us at her conveniently located showroom in downtown Sebastopol, where she also maintains a small warehouse so that she can provide in-stock items for same-day delivery when possible. She was helpful and attentive, and she had a lot of helpful advice for finding my son the best mattress for his needs. She also has a policy of recommending affordable mattresses before moving on to higher-priced items, so she is clearly very honest and interested in helping her customers. I have already recommended Lori to friends in the area.
