The Futon Shop

BUYER BEWARE! The Futon Shop advertised a warm, natural wood finish on the Tatami bed frame and nightstands we ordered in the maple finish. What showed up was something else entirely. The finish on the furniture we received was inconsistent, sloppy peach-colored paint or different colors that looked nothing like what they advertised. The quality matched the disappointment. Pieces didn't fit together properly. When we voiced our concerns, their solution was to pay to ship it back ourselves, take a 20% restocking fee, and receive store credit instead of a refund. For a product they misrepresented. We ended up filing a credit card dispute and an Illinois Attorney General complaint. Save yourself the headache!!!

I love this store. Highest quality most luxurious pillows and beds. Rick is super cool!

We had an excellent experience at The Futon Shop! Christopher helped us learn about the different options, including frame styles, mattresses, and cover fabrics. He was patient in answering all our questions, and has a warm and friendly demeanor. The frames are high quality; even the least expensive option is made of solid wood, and the mechanisms are smooth and seem durable. The mattresses vary in levels of comfort, with price variation accordingly. We picked the organic cotton mattress, which we found the most comfortable, though it was more expensive than the base options. There are dozens of options for covers, so you'll definitely find one to suit your taste! Christopher also mentioned that the covers are exchangeable, which took some of the pressure off choosing the PERFECT fabric.

I did call today to place an order and did talk to Christopher. He is very knowledgeable and cooperative. This is my second order for Cocomax coir mattress. I love this firm mattress. great product and would recommend to any one who loves firm mattress and dont feel comfortable using latex or memory foam mattress
