Mattress Barn Suntree Super Store

What a great experience! Ashley was a dream to work with. She let us take our time and was not not trying to upsell us. Too bad we probably won’t need to shop there again any time soon because we plan to keep our fabulous bed for quite a while!

We visited the store in September of 2024 looking for a mattress. As a designer I test mattresses at market that are mostly purchased for the hospitality industry. We went to this store to buy a Serta Perfect Sleeper Pillow top mattress. Once there we were steered to the foam mattresses that had a cooling feature. We purchased the mattress and the box support which is only plywood and a light weight covering and had to return after 1 month. Terrible sleeping as the mattress was too firm and the box support just added to the problem . The store suggested the electronically operated frame, an upgrade which we purchased. We were discouraged from buying the Serta Pillow top and told the mattress would break down. The Tempur-Pedic , more expensive was highly recommended. We were told the mattress would form to the body , soften and provide a for better sleeping. The mattress has caused back and shoulder problems for me and sciatica for my husband. It also slopes downward at the edge on both sides. This is a family owned business and the people are nice but the up sell and push for higher priced product that may not be the best for the customer , along with a policy that states , if you return the mattress in our designated time period and choose something less expensive we will not refund the difference . We have spent over 4 thousand dollars for a series of products at this store which have failed . Customers may want to think about their options before purchasing something that may not be compatible for good rest /sleep rather than buying something suggested which may be an expensive regret.

Gino was great today. He gave me a great deal on a floor model mattress, and scheduled delivery for the next day. I'm very happy with today's transaction, and I'm glad that I met Gino. He is very knowledgeable of the mattress industry and a very positive person. I'll return to Mattress Barn for my future bedding needs.

My wife Vanessa and I had such a great experience at Mattress Barn in Suntree. Gino the Store Manager made us feel welcome, made us laugh and was highly knowledgeable. He took the time to take us around the store and help us understand which type of mattress would work best for us and our budget. We can’t wait to sleep on our brand new mattress in our new apartment. Thank you Gino, we couldn’t have figured it out without you!
