I had a really wonderful experience buying my new mattress/base with TJ and Mattress Firm. I appreciated the price transparency (not all stores put prices out) and thought I got a good value. TJ was extremely knowledgeable about the inventory and gave great recommendations specific to my personal needs. Although he was busy, he made sure that my shopping experience was good, and I could also see he was really attentive to other customers too. Delivery was fast/efficient and I was sleeping in my new bed next day.

He patiently walked us through all the different mattress options, explaining every detail clearly and helping us choose the top-of-the-line setup. We ended up spending around $20K for our full purchase — and it was worth every penny. Our first delivery (handled by independent contractors) didn’t go smoothly — they weren’t very helpful when I needed old bases hauled away before the new installation. It was frustrating in the moment, but I want to emphasize that this wasn’t Mattress Firm’s fault; it seemed like those contractors were just overworked with too many stops that day. When I went back and met Ronald in person to explain what happened, he immediately took ownership. Within hours, he arranged for the old metal and wooden bases to be picked up, scheduled a next-day delivery, and personally followed up with the warehouse to make sure everything went right this time. Day one was rocky, but by the end of day two, the entire experience was first-class. Mattress Firm showed true professionalism and care for their customers. If you’re planning to invest in a high-end mattress and want someone who genuinely cares about your satisfaction, Ronald is your guy!
