Mattress Firm Kentlands Square

Excellent service before and after my new mattress was delivered. It’s easy to have good service before you pay but it is exceptional to offer excellent service when a question comes up later. That’s what we experienced at Kentlands Mattress Firm. I highly recommend them!! We will certainly be repeat customers.

Nice experience. Michael was very helpful answering questions and providing information but with no sales pressure. The matress sold itself. Purchase was easy and delivery, free, arranged within 2 days. Plus they'll remove my old matress. Really nice service.

I dealt with 3 different people over 2 separate days and all were very efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Truly great customer service without the aggressive pressure I have experienced at other places. They made the sale and I highly recommend them!

Extremely untrained and unprofessional staff. We had a salesperson who offered us significant discounts on almost every mattress in the store. I asked her to verify several time and she guaranteed that the price was correct. Her manager was in room throughout the whole conversation, either standing near or at his desk in the corner. We were the only patrons. When she went to ring it up though, she came back and said that "the cost to make the mattress" had gone up and so the price was now several hundred dollars more. We were frustrated with the bait and switch but were willing to move forward. She went back to ring up the total price of everything we were purchasing but didn't return for more than 10 minutes. We asked her to email us with the certain price because we had to leave. She never emailed us. I came back a week later and the manager informed us that all prices the salesperson had offered were never on the table, it was too steep of a discount. I asked if that applied to the second price she told us AFTER she had already consulted with her manager and he said yes. I do not understand how this level of miscommunication occurred. Frankly, while I'm frustrated with the bait and switch and wasted time, I'm even more frustrated with how the manager spoke to me when I came back. Not only was he not apologetic in the slightest, he was pretty rude to me for thinking I could buy a mattress at the sale price HIS ASSOCIATE quoted me (that again he was witness to). His attitude seemed to be that this misunderstanding was somehow my fault. All he could say was that she was new. But as a manager, he is responsible for training her and either he's been completely negligent in her training or he's complicit in a bait and switch scheme. I'm not sure which, but I absolutely will never be going back to this store and I advise others to go across the street to the other mattress store.
