Mattress Firm Manchester-Center

The shopping experience in the store was fine and adequate. We purchased a mattress and platform. The real problem and disappointment came on the day of delivery to our vacation home in Vermont. We watched the as the delivery truck drove onto our street and past our house, then turned around and left without contacting us. When we could see from the app that they had left the area, we started calling Mattress Firm. For some reason we could not be connected to anyone of authority in delivery or customer service. Instead we were connected back to Jeff at the store over and over again. He was supposedly trying to communicate with a supervisor, but was never able get the issue resolved. Eventually the deliver truck came back to the end of the street and said it was too icy although it was normal Vermont weather conditions. We offered to bring our car down to them and bring the items to the house on our own, but when we went to get the car they drove away and never came back. This was especially aggravating because we were expecting guests for the weekend and now would have no bed for them to sleep on. In the end we cancelled our order after wasting so much time and energy. We drove to Rutland the following day and went to a family owned mattress store, where we received excellent service and ended up buying 2 mattresses and two platforms with headboards for less money. I wish that I had just done that in the first place.

Great experience. There was a great selection and wide price range. Jeff was very knowledgeable about all the different mattress features. He spent a long time with us until we found The perfect mattress for our needs and budget. I would highly recommend MattressFirm.

Ricky was one of the best sales people I ever dealt with. He understood our needs and didn’t try to sell us something we didn’t want or need and was very pleasant.

Do NOT use Mattress Firm in Manchester, Vermont. I ordered 2 twin mattresses, box springs and frames. The delivery team arrived - one of them spitting all over my driveway. The frames were bent and over 2 inches too big for each mattress. The delivery guy said they were defective. I called Robert (who I purchased from). Robert was not able to get me new frames until a later date. This is a ski house and I came up to receive this delivery. Robert was incredibly unprofessional - when I asked to speak to his manager he said he was in another store. I asked him to call him and make him aware of this situation and he refused. Would not even give me the number to the Berlin store where the manager, Ricky, was for the day. I did get Ricky who was very professional and apologetic and canceled my entire order. Bottom line is this store is not able to correct issues when encountered as their delivery warehouse is in CT. I will be shopping elsewhere!

We had a great experience with Ricky. He was very knowledgeable did not pressure us at all gave us all the information we needed to pick out a mattress which we did. He confirmed when we would receive it and we really look forward to sleeping on our Sealy.
