Mattress Firm Shadyside

Matt helped my girlfriend and I find a great mattress for us! He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We also really appreciated that he respected our budget and didn't push us too hard towards any product. We couldn't recommend this experience enough!

I found my salesperson - Ricky - to be friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. He gave me time to try out several mattresses and answered my questions thoroughly. I did not buy in my first visit but when I returned he remembered my name, which was nice. I never felt pressured to spend more than I had budgeted and Ricky made the purchase process smooth. He helped me discover that my vintage bed could work with an adjustable frame. Yay! My new mattress and adjustable frame were delivered the next day by two friendly and capable men. They were polite, careful in my home, and efficient. All in all it was a great experience and transaction.

The staff was knowledgeable and not too pushy. You can expect normal salesperson upsell tactics, but I did get the impression that my salesperson did genuinely try to inform and guide me to a good purchase. The storefront was clean, not too busy, and offered lots of information materials for comparing different mattresses and frames/foundations.

UPDATE: 1/15/2025 - I have been sleeping on my new mattress for 2 1/2 months. I absolutely love this hybrid mattress 😊. It did take a couple weeks for my back to adjust. I did research I understand why that was. I have no complaints. I love it 😊 ..... 9/29/2024 - I purchased my new mattress on 8/31/2024 with 'Sleep Expert' Nina, who was so patient and attentive. My mattress was delivered 9/14/2024. I received prior reminder notifications via text and email. I received a text the day before informing me of my delivery window. The day of, I got an automated call stating when the delivery crew would be arriving, which was right at the earliest part of my delivery window. I honestly couldn't ask for a better experience with the purchase of this new mattress. Now, I have yet to lay my head on this beauty of a mattress, but it is all set up and the bed is made. I will provide an update to this review once I move next month 😊.

Me and my wife had a great experience shopping there today! We were helped my Matt F. During our time there. We showed up pretty close to closing time which I know can be annoying, but he took his time showing us/ testing all of our options and never made us feel rushed. It was my first time investing in a better mattress. Matt was super knowledgeable about all of the products there and was well informed about everything from warranty claims to delivery details. He made the whole process extremely smooth. Highly recommend going to this location!
