If just 1 person decides not to give their business to The Original Mattress Factory because of the following review then it's a win for the good guys. Wanna guess who the bad guys are? You know a company is doing a bang-up job when the customer leaves a 1 star review(I'd leave zero if I could) and feels the need to report the company to the Better Business Bureau. Without a doubt the worst mattress we've ever purchased (I believe they sent us a different mattress than the one we purchased or it was poorly constructed) and the "customer service" we received afterwards was even worse. To any potential customer reading this, take your money elsewhere. The Original Mattress Factory is the most dishonorable company we've ever dealt with, from corporate down to the lazy salesman in Monroeville, Jay, who made next to know effort to help us. Literally the guy wouldn't get out of his chair both times that we were in the store. We have told as many people as possible, and will continue to do so, to avoid The Original Mattress Factory because of this horrendously bad experience.

View on GoogleJoe was absolutely fantastic! We went looking for a mattress, got informed by him, and felt no pressure when we were picking out a mattress. They had delivery next day and brought it to the bedroom and set it up. Easiest and most childishly purchase!
View on GoogleI would not buy a mattress from them again. I have not had a good experience dealing with them since I purchased my mattress. From the very first day of buying it as I was leaving, they said once you leave the store with it, we will NOT take it back! They were very adamant about it as I was paying for it. I didn't think it was going to be a problem because i laid on several mattresses in the store, and the one I picked felt the best for me. They told me it came in other options such as plush and firm. I said the one on the floor is what I like. When I got it home and set up, it was way firmer than what I tried in the store. I read the literature they sent home with me, and it said give yourself time to adjust to your mattress, and if it's too firm, go purchase a pillow top mattress pad. I bought a pillow top mattress to begin with! I shouldn't have to spend more money buying a pillow top pad to put on a pillow mattress. I spent more money there than other places because I wanted a 2-sided mattress, so it would last longer. I got a survey a week later about my experience. I put in the comments that I feel I was not given the proper mattress. It's too firm, but I went out and bought a pillow top pad. Another 90 dollars on top of my 1500 dollars I've already spent. They call me at 30 days to ask how I like my mattress. I tell them I don't, and they ask why. They obviously didn't read my survey from 3 weeks prior. I'm told a technician will have to come and take a look at it. Of course, I'm puzzled by that. He arrives a week and a half later. I knew it was going to be a waste of my time, but maybe I'll be surprised. Nope, it went just as I thought it would go. They were looking to see if I had bent the springs bringing it in. No bent springs! The dog and pony show continues about everything that I have done wrong. Stating that the bed is a quarter of an inch lower in the one corner. That's not going to affect how firm the mattress is! It's not what I laid on in the store. I'm told I should have spent more time choosing my mattress. It's a comfort issue on my end. I chose wrong. At the end of this was well luckily you have our comfort policy. You can pick something else at a discounted rate in the first year. I've already spent too much for something that wasn't right to begin with and does not feel the same as what's in the store. Why would I go back and give you more money for something else. I am extremely disappointed with them. And I'll be damned if I will give them more money. To many red flags I overlooked. They're right it is my fault. When the salespeople were adamant about not taking it back, and they said in the literature that if your mattress is too firm, go by a pad to put on top. All signs of a bad experience coming my way!

From shopping on their website, to phone conversations and ordering, to the delivery, the overall attitude of their business felt relaxed but professional. The staff are willing to give helpful advice, but they didn't pressure me into making any decisions. Specifically, I appreciated working with Bill, who answered my questions and helped process my order via phone, and I also appreciated Ken and Darryl's professional and very timely delivery of the mattress! The mattress itself feels well made and was a decent price for the quality! I'm still getting used to it, but it suits my needs and I am overall happy with it. Would definitely recommend Original Mattress to others!
