Hidden away in an industrial back lot is a custom mattress business owned by a sweet couple who has been doing specialty custom mattresses for over 25 years. When you walk into their modest, cluttered office, you see pictures of them hanging on the walls from when they were young. It's a husband and wife team and let me tell ya: they're good at what they do! We bought a 19ft Scamp trailer that comes with a loft bed, shaped like a piece of bread. The mattress that came with it was hard as a brick! We tried mattress toppers and even had one custom made by an upholsterer nearby. Still too hard. We took our rig to them and they measured it and built us a beautiful soft and luxurious box spring mattress that fits our rig loft PERFECTLY. It was ready in a few days and the cost was reasonable. Felt like we were treated like Hollywood royalty.. if you are looking for an odd size mattress that is comfortable, go to Melvin!

This is a mom and pop place run by a couple with many years in the business. They can make mattresses sized traditionally as well as custom sizes for boats and RVs.

Me and my wife truly love it before this mattress I had back pains every night no I sleep like a baby. This mattress has held up it's comfort for over 5 years now and I truly recommend Melvin custom mattress to anyone looking for a great custom mattress with exact specifications.
