My friend told me about this store so i had to check it out. The item I wanted wasn't in the store but I ordered online for $900 off competitor pricing. I received the furniture about a week later. I opted for delivery and the men that delivered it were very polite and careful despite the furniture being very large. Overall great experience, thanks Bama Overstock!

Placed an order online, seen I bed that I liked. Poor customer service, received a email confirmation that the order was placed and thought there were going to send an additional email with a tracking number# but never got it. I called everyday In a week before someone finally answered the phone, that’s when I was advised they don’t have tracking number and will call the day the order comes in scheduled a time for delivery. It was delivered and they man who delivered stated they forgot my head board and had to wait later on in the day to get it. Once received I had someone to set up my bed. I seen it and was immediately not satisfied. The bed looks nothing like it did online it was a darker gray and cheap rhinestones around the whole head board which if you were to doom all the way in on the photo on they’re website it doesn’t look the same and looks very much cheap. I called the same day spoke with a young man told him my concerns he advised me to send a photo of what it looks like online and pictures of the bed I had which I did I heard nothing back. I literally called some many times before someone answered the phone it was the same young man he placed me on hold then a woman came to the phone announced herself as being the manager. Off the top she was extremely rude. She stated the bed doesn’t look the same because I didn’t have a box spring under the mattress advised her that I do have one in before taking that photo I was in the process of breaking the bed back down to put everything back inside of the boxes and only put the mattress back down to take a picture, her next excuse was it doesn’t look the same because the bed on the website it’s a king size bed and I have a queen size I told her that size had nothing to do with the Quality of the bed. Plus the head board is so much smaller than what it appears as on their website. I advise her I wanted to either replace the bed with something else or return it for a refund I’ve never slept on it or anything I literally had someone set it up and immediately had them to break it back down. She kept trying to over talk me and stated all sales are final no refunds and I couldn’t return even tho I only had it for 1 day. I advised her that I will be filing a dispute and will get my money back one way or another and they can feel free to come pick up the bed. She stated that they’ll be pressing charges on me for theft of property even though she’s refusing to take it back I even offered to bring it to them she still declined. She stated everything in the terms in condition which I read every single paragraph and there’s no such thing of that being on the terms in condition. Told her she can go ahead and file the charges if she wants but that’s not going to stop me filing my dispute and I’ve also contacted the better Business Bureau and reported them

I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with my recent experience with Montgomery Overstock. This was the second time purchasing a couch from this company. The first time I was present and had no issues. The second time my college aged son did the purchase with me on the phone so I could hear the entire transaction. We wanted to do same as cash xxx days financing. They did not explain any options to him just said to scan the QR code and apply that way. I had the money to pay in full but since it was holidays I wanted to take advantage of the option to split the payment with no interest. Nothing was explained about them having different types of financing options. On the day the couch was delivered and I saw the paperwork and logged into the account, they did the financing through a “bad credit” approval company which charged $100 more to pay the couch off early! Plus they added a $100 warranty that was never asked for nor explained to us that it was mandatory due to financing! A couch that we had an invoice for $798 ended up costing $1010 and should have only been $698 because we didn’t ask for a warranty! Absolutely disgusting way to conduct business and try to take advantage of a college student. I should not have had to pay for a warranty I didn’t want nor these extra fees to Acima financing! All I wanted was the same as cash financing! I would have paid cash for it in full had I known this company was shady!!! A $600 couch ended up costing me over $1000!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
