Great store and great customer service! Love the Ollies in Toccoa !

I give a 3 star sometimes 5 stars. 3 days ago I walked in to Ollie’s discount store. Too be treated like trash by this white male employee don’t know his name. I say white cause there’s a few diversity people working there. Anyway I ask him if i can look for a different size shorts and he demanded me no while I waited for manager to trade in the ones that didn’t fit. lol this employee didn’t know how to comunícate with me he was celebrating his ignorance that day. I was lost for words 🤦🏽‍♂️anyway the alien took him for a few minutes cause he just wasn’t there not listening to what I was talking about. lol.

I had probably the worst customer service experience at Ollies in Toccoa, Ga. When I paid for my merchandise the transaction went through on my end, funds where immediately deducted from my account. But the cashier said it wasn't complete In there computer because it didn't print a receipt, even though I showed them my phone and proof that cash app said it was paid and complete, not pending. The manager came over and told me i would have to pay a second time for it to be completed in there system and that this is a known glitch that the company is aware of. I told them this was unacceptable that i would have to pay them twice for the same merchandise due to a glitch in their system. Even after I had them call there district manager the only response I received was that the second charge would fall off after a couple days. I have never seen a store or any company have such a lousey policy inplace to handle business with customers. Forcing them to pay twice for the merchandise. The only options I was given was to pay for my merchandise a second time or I'd have to leave the store without the items I'd paid for and was never offered a refund for the first initial transaction. It's now been 7 days since this happened and I still haven't received my money back. I've disputed the transaction which cash app initiated the refund and ollies canceled it. I've attempted to use there customer service email from there website, however who ever is in charge of that system responds to my messages as if I'm inquiring about not receiving a discount. I've replied twice telling them that my concern has nothing to do with a discount they need to read my messages. They have a huge sign In there store that says the customers are always right. This couldn't be further from how the company handles business.

This is a very well organized bargain store. Some bargain stores I have been in the past are a told disaster. Each staff member that we encountered also to provide assistance. They were all very friendly and kind. The lines were getting rather long for checkout and they quickly opened another line. Their inventory is always changing. I would highly recommend visiting the store.

I love the discounts I can get at Ollie's! They have slim fast and keto snacks. They also have great summer things at a discounted price. I got the solar flickering touch for my dad's grave. It's plastic but good quality.
