In buying a sofa for my parents’ apartment - under the gun to find one and have it delivered before a big storm this past weekend I had 15 minutes to find one and mere days to make it work. I had no idea how I’d manage. And then I met Richard Hernandez. Richard could not have been more kind, more accommodating, and really very quickly understood the amount of pressure I was under to make this happen quickly. He was great and very quickly identified the few sofas which matched my very stringent criteria. All that remained was for me to measure to make sure it fit. He gave me his personal mobile number and stayed late at the store to make sure I could get him the measurements and he could get the order placed in time. It all worked out beautifully. I cannot thank him enough for his time, his patience - and certainly his skill in helping me pick up the right one. My parents love it!! We had a really nice experience shopping for a new living room set. We were warmly greeted by Dan who generously gave us all the time and space we needed to look around. But was always close enough to ask questions when we had them. He was very knowledgeable of all of the items. We found exactly what we were looking for and can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks Dan!

Dan and Greg made the entire furniture buying experience smooth and stress-free. Dan, the salesman, was incredibly helpful from the start—he really listened to what I was looking for and walked me through different options without any pressure. He knew the products well, explained the differences in quality, and helped me find exactly what I needed while staying within my budget. Greg, the store manager, was just as impressive. He made sure everything ran smoothly and stepped in to support when needed, which showed a lot about how the store is run. You can tell he takes pride in both his team and the customer experience. Between Dan’s hands-on help and Greg’s leadership, it was a great overall experience. I’d definitely recommend working with both of them if you’re shopping for furniture.

He greeted us promptly for a quick introduction and then allowed us to browse through the store without interruptions but with well-paced "check-ins" Dan was knowledgeable & proactive in sharing purchasing options to help with our decision-making. My wife and I had one of the most negative customer service experiences we’ve ever had with a sales representative, Richard. After first visiting the outlet a few days earlier, we found a couch we liked better at another Raymour & Flanigan location in Collegeville, PA, and ultimately purchased it there through Michael, who was excellent. However, we returned to the outlet to purchase a dining table. Upon our return, Richard continually made us feel uncomfortable because we did not buy the couch through him and did not ask the sales representative at the other store to split the sale. We had informed the other sales representative that we had previously been assisted at the outlet, but he did not ask who had helped us. As a result, we assumed the outlet and retail store operated separately, especially since the couch was purchased at a non-outlet Raymour & Flanigan location. While we understand that sales representatives work on commission, and Richard made sure we were aware of that, it is not the customer’s responsibility to ensure a sales representative is included in a sale. If we had not already had another commitment, we likely would have walked out and purchased the dining table from Michael at the other store. This is not a one-star review because the rest of the employees were very friendly and helpful, particularly Mae. Additionally, both my family and my wife’s family have had multiple positive experiences with other sales representatives over the years. While we had a negative experience, one sales representative does not reflect the entire store. From a product perspective, the furniture we purchased was nice and reasonably priced. We would return in the future, but would certainly choose to work with a different sales representative or visit a different location.
