I do not recommend purchasing furniture from here. They do not stand behind there furniture and the protection plan they up sale you is useless. I have furniture where thread is coming apart, recliner foot rest has a tear in fabric from openimg and shutting and fabrics pealing on back side, recliner part half works and the back cushion on one side of couch shape doesn't match the left. Called 3 months ago and have had nothing but my time wasted then finally today they make offer of refunding the protection plan or giving me more furniture at half off. When this should be repaired or replaced under the protection plan I purchased. Complete rip offs. The last person I spoke to was Mat Schewel and he is the one not standing behind the products they sale. Basically told me it was my neglect instead of the protection plan I purchased covering these issues properly. Also I had to send picture after pictures and email after email until I finally got frustrated and called the main office. Im sure im not the only thats been done like this and im sure they will keep doing it. Completely unexceptable. This is from Danville and Eden locations

First off we paid cash money! The couch we picked out was to big so we asked them to flip it and they told it it could be flipped no problem, hours later they say no can’t be flipped we would have to find another - so we didn’t get our money back… told us they would have to get corporate to send us a check( but they couldn’t take a check from me) We went to another store and found furniture we liked and again asked for refund- a week later and still nothing! Second we ordered a mattress and they did not update us I had to call, they ended up ordering wrong Mattress and that we a delay! Was supposed to get a delivery today and after the manager, Steve called me evening before and after noon of delivery we finally called store back because was getting close to closing! The mattress wasn’t on delivery truck! I am so upset we were lied to and still haven’t gotten our refund! Third we ordered a second mattress for my daughter and called because they ordered a 9” boxspring and we told them we too tall- Gwen said she was taking care of it and a week goes by and we haven’t heard anything! Bad news again when I talked to store Gwen never followed through and ordered the replacement! Never will do business with them again!

Sales associate, Gwen, and her store manager were very helpful in the purchase of our new split lift bed. They broke down every detail and allowed us to try it out in the store. If we had received it, I would have added a couple of pictures.

I have bought a living room suite and kitchen table set from them. Great staff. Good prices and good products. All around great experience. Going back to get a zero turn today.

Made our first purchase at Schewels Home today and it will not be our last! Fantastic experience from beginning to end, great selection, very friendly and helpful staff starting with the salesperson, then the Cashier and finely the delivering staff......all were Great! We are making a wish list and we will be back!!
